I’ve read other reviews saying this company doesn’t care and people were treated poorly after bad conditions caused issues. This was not our experience at all. We rented a cabin near Gatlinburg, at the top of a small mountain. Yes it was a narrow winding road but it was well paved. The entrance and parking into the cabin was plenty of room and the we had no trouble with our large Ford transit and suburban. If the roads were icy I could see it being an issue but personally I think that’s a common sense thing that people should always factor into their travels. Buy groceries before you arrive and be prepared. For us, there was no ice but we knew a storm was brewing. Upon arrival the wind knocked out the power and still we remained by choice. Then a wildfire started at the base of our mountain and before the power was out we saw the flames rising and sounded the alarm. We alerted the property manager who alerted the maintenance man working next door. He immediately contacted authorities and confirmed the fire was growing. He was quick to get to us and offer assistance for us to leave and he went to the other guests and evacuated them. Due to everyone’s quick actions everyone got off the mountain safely. The following day it was determined that the power was still out and there was smoke in the cabin. We made the decision to not return but instead find another vacation home. The company very graciously refunded our money for the stay, recognizing that it was due to unforeseen emergent conditions. Visiting a snowy area during snowing conditions, people must be prepared. A wild fire was completely unpredictable. They did the right thing and stayed in constant contact to ensure our safety. It...

The cabin at 1523 Gillespie Way, and named, at the time, " Mountain Bliss", was the subject of an objective, but real time video experience by the renters of that cabin, a Gatlinburg LEO, and the owner-operators of a local vehicle recovery and towing company. This property had been snowed in. This property was on a private driveway. This owner/ management company was clearly negligent in maintaining access between the property and public roadways. As the renters tried to vacate the property, one , a woman, fell on the property and was injured to the degree of needing EMS response. The tow company assisted the EMS ( which had to walk in to the property due to lack of drive maintenance), with transporting the victim of the un maintained drive-- literally within feet of the cabin door. The LEO made an incident report for the tenant regarding the personal injury on the property. The woman, on the phone, representing the owner/management was totally unresponsive to the reality of the situation. She didn't concede the ownership of the drive, much less any concern or sympathy for the experience of the tenants. She did, tell the remaining renter he could stay---- for a "discounted" rate! Then she remotely changed the access code denying any access--- apparently before the gentleman could even decide how to proceed. This random experience clearly indicates a number of points that will be bright red flags for any potential tenant of the company.
Interesting as of this date, 10 18 25, there is no cabin by the name "Mountain Bliss."

Read moreAbsolutely do not rent from this company. Only this past winter, a renters and his fiance were stranded due to a snow storm. Even the tow truck was unable to get the car out, and during the process of attempting to rescue the vehicle, the fiance fell on the leg she recently had surgery on, meaning EMS had to come and risk the mountain to rescue her. The rental company straight up changed the door code on the man, who - again - COULD NOT LEAVE - to lock him out in the cold until he agreed to pay for more nights until he could be rescued (keep in mind they didn't even have food for two days because of how bad the storm was and being stuck there) and then attempted to blow off responsibility of caring for the PRIVATE road on literally any single other person they could find. This is absolutely SHAMEFUL behavior. Aside from offering a "discount" on the extra days they - again - could not opt out of due to the mismanagement of property, this rental company offered no compromises and not even any sympathy (the entire phone conversation is on youtube) aside from "money". Company owner, you should absolutely be ashamed that this awful arrogant behavior is associated with your company. If you can't comprehend that people are more important than profits, you shouldn't be in the people business! FOR...
