Mulberry Park — Attraction in Shallotte

Nice park. Plenty of places to sit in the shade. Huge space for movies or concerts, bring a chair. Big bathrooms,which were not clean but that's a fault of ppl, not the park. Community garden is so cute. VERY handicap accessible paths around a sweet little pond. It's close to parking and smooth concrete so if you're in a wheelchair or have trouble walking and use assistive devices, you're going to be ok on the trails. My kids are too old for the park but it had lots of space, some shaded seating for parents, and the kids on it...

A small park that has a nice playground with fun things for kids to do. The front of the park had some nice benches to sit on, though it's not recommended during the summer months as there are no trees to shade them. There is a community garden where people rent plots to grow what pleases them. Most of which are flowers. It would be nice if it could become a real community garden where residents could plant vegetables and tend the patches. A small walking circle has been formed but doesn't seem to be complete...

Went here in on a Thursday in June. It was not busy at all, no other children on the playground. Nice pavilion for having some food. Bathroom is clean. The walking trail is nicely paved and great for walking around. There is a little pond as well. The playground is very nice. The stage is big and is used for live music. Very clean and well taken care of. There's also a community garden and a veterans...
