Terrible experience. Parts are not kept in stock, employees become argumentative when you are simply providing feedback, and the gentleman on the phone was pretty rude. I called in as we have been trying to get a phone fixed for about a week or so. We made an appointment the previous time but we were missing a part. Again, this portion was totally our fault. Well, my wife went in there today to drop it off and was told she would have to wait until Monday and the parts couldn't be put on hold. He also asked me to give a business that would have parts in stock for us. I did and he argued that an auto repair shop was not a fair comparison to this shop. A Samsung device in the phone world is comparable to a Honda Civic for vehicles, so yeah it actually is. He also said my wife could call on Monday and hold the part that was on the shipment for an hour but that was the best he could do. The other day we had to special order a part for another device and that was guaranteed ours. So, if they're on a shipment and you want to pay ahead, that's a no go. If you have to special order items on their terms, then of course they'll hold it for you. He also said that since they're a certified Samsung facility, they cannot 'reserve' ordered parts. I call nonsense on both of this as I called CPR down the street, they called their other location, and have a part waiting for my wife to arrive at 3:30PM. So glad we won't have to deal with this location again. I got my other device fixed here and that was awesome..... since then the service has drastically declined. This location needs to train their associates not to get so defensive when someone is trying to ask them questions, let the customer finish speaking before interrupting, and stop getting defensive with customers are legit trying to help you better your business. I cannot believe the run around this location has caused me..... and I could've literally gone down the street and had this fixed days ago. I really hope the owner reads this and listens to that call. The associate said you guys won't listen to the feedback for change so hopefully this will be the start. The owner responded to this review but is speaking about the S6 we brought in and tried to fix, not the S8. The S8 did not have water damage and was fixed by CPR the same day this entire incident occurred. I will never come back to this location, especially knowing the owner does not pay...
Read moreVery poor experience, I don't know where to start. Let me try to break into a few bullet points:
1- very small, poorly ventilated store. It has a stinky smell, probably from food employers are eating at the backstage
2- very slow and inattentive employees. If there is someone in front of you, you understand what I mean. It takes forever for them to get things done. They ask you stuff and once you explain then they do something with their computer and ask everything from the beginning (taking notes or something) then they ask a few things for even the third time.
3- no place to sit while waiting there.
4- They lack professionalism. After waiting forever, they told me they have the part but then after going in and out of the backstage a few times, they said that part is reserved and they need to order. I said fine. They ordered and told me they will contact me once the part arrives. I waited for a week with no text, email or call. Then I called them to learn that the part had arrived days ago and they forgot to call.
I was upset but whatever. I brought in my phone and they told me to hang around for a few hours and come back. They said they would call me once the job is done. Of course no one called. I showed up three hours later only to learn that they did not even start working on my phone. What is even worse is that they had ordered the wrong part and I wasted all the week plus half of that day for no reason.
When I protested, they showed no empathy and immediately told me that I can take my phone if I want to. I had no alternative so I asked them to reorder. I showed up a 4 days later ( this time they called when the part arrived) and now I am waiting for the repair to be done. They offered 20% discount for the misery, I had to go through because of their incompetece.
In summary, after more than 2 weeks, I could get my phone fixed which should have taken a few hours on a normal day.
I guess this chain is sort of a monopoly so I cannot say I won't comeback again. But for sure I will avoid this location. Here looks more like Bunch of high school dropout wannabes playing with phones rather than a...
Read moreI called this location at 4:50pm on Sunday and the guy was very nice, explained everything to me and told me that since they closed in 10 minutes that he would put my name on the last part that they had for my phone and it would be there for me as long as I got there before 5pm the next day. I made the hour and a half long drive there and got there at 4:30. The guy at the counter told me that they had just used the last part for my phone 20 minutes before I got there. I told him that it was supposed to have my name on it and the guy told me that since I called in the day before that it would only have been held to the end of that business day. I explained AGAIN that they were only open for 10 more minutes when I called, so the guy told me that as long as I was there before 5pm the next day that it was mine. He told me that I should not have been told that and that I could drive to their other store that was "15" minutes away. That drive ended up taking over half of an hour because of traffic and I was told that they could possibly not have it done before closing and I would have to make the hour and a half drive back there the next day to pick it up. Thank God that they got it done about 5 minutes before closing time. All this to say that you should AVOID the Bethel Rd location. I never got any sort of apology from them for lying to me. The manager at the Hilliard location was very nice and apologized for the other store. He was much nicer to deal with and they did a great job fixing my phone. If you need anything fixed, go to the...
