Went to Burlington's as have enjoyed shopping here for bargains, clothing items for myself and grandkids. Still like the store but will never go back to this location. Rude checkout person, didn't speak, tried doing small talk, no responses, then when trying to leave, theft alarm went off. Went back to checkout person, went through items, found a security tag that needed to be removed, tried leaving and it goes off again. Walked back up to counter and went through it all again. Person acted rude and bent out of shape because she did not remove the security tags. Could have happened to anyone as we all make mistakes but try apologizing and engaging with your customers, not standing there without talking and acting like it is the customers fault the security tags were not removed is not a good way to earn customers, especially when it happened more than once. Can always find bargains...

There's the dollar tree, Burlington coat factory, firehouse sub, Wall of China restaurant, a dance studio and (currently) a discount smokes (who knows how long it'll last.) Ample parking but no public restrooms - you might be able to use one of the stores' restrooms. Caution: the second entrance on Quivira (if shawnee mission parkway is behind you) into the shopping center is awful. You might damage your the bottom of your car. Read moreThis shopping center has seen better days, but just a few years ago this was fully occupied with vibrant brand-name stores. Don't know if it is just bad luck or location or poor management as it has been on a slow decline for over a decade now. Still visit, but just on sporadic occasions.
