Fastforward 2 years to 06 August 2020. Thought we'd give Firehouse another chance. Ordered $36.00 worth of food for my family & I. Included in our order was a half dozen cookies, of which we never received. Called the store, manager explains a new hire was filling the order. First question, why would you put a new person in a position as important as maintaining order accuracy, with no one checking on their progress? As a retired Restaurant General Manager, this would not be my first choice.
11 September 2016, The young lady who took my order was impolite. Would not let me speak, kept interrupting me as I attempted to place my order. Until I stated to please let me finish before interrupting me again I will walk out! She finished stating I'm only doing my job, rather offended like tone. I stated fine, but let me finish. I question should I return again
18 August 2017... Well it's been a year & guess what... they still staff their facility with rude employees. Daz the assistant manager working tonight, is one of the most rudest & disrespectful employees I have EVER experienced! Spent roughly $35.00 on 4 sandwiches to go. I called their number and this female wouldn't let me explain the situation, kept interrupting me, saying I was breaking up using a landlines ...really? Have your phone service checked, try not stretching the cord to timbucktoo & back, or better yet close your mouth so your ears can function Daz!
Daz, you are a poor example of what a person of your statues should be. Now before you spout off at the mouth my home phone has a speaker option. Our conversation was heard by my entire family so please... do everyone a favor and engage the ears BEFORE engaging the mouth.
I will make one last trip to your door step to speak with the franchise owner. I will also be contacting the corporate office and airing my complaint. I will think twice before visiting this firehouse sub location or any other this day forth. I can go around the corner and get two slabs of ribs for this price & zero head aches too!
If anyone is an expert with customer service within the organization maybe they can explain to the location...
Read moreI have visited this location several times. It was hard to figure out how to rate this store. It is very hit or miss. Things either pretty good and 4-5 stars or they are a 2-3 stars. I can say this store has always been clean. The store is well lit. The parking for this whole shopping center is so-so. I would say 75-80% of the time the customer service has been pretty good. Occasionally they have not be very out reaching / positive but have never been rude. The food has been fresh and good every time but once when it seemed the meat on my sandwich was the slivers off the accumulation of cutting rather than nice slices of meat. The reason for a so so rating - I am one who prefers a cold sandwich. I don’t know if that throws them off but more often than not I end up with the bread, meat and cheese - no condiments. I always order regardless which sub shop - mayo, lettuce and onions. The only exception is if I would maybe get a meatball sub which I don’t do very often. Tonight on my visit I was really looking forward to a nice sub for my meal. I went inside and ordered in person. The young man at the counter was very nice to deal with. It can be deceiving how busy they are since so many order now via the app. They made 2 or 3 orders while I waited for mine. The young man who gave me my order was also polite. I then proceeded to go to my function. When I stopped to eat upon arrival was when I noticed how plain my sandwich was. I didn’t have time to go back to the location. I called and they seemed shocked I ordered in person, not online or the app. They couldn’t find my order in the system and double checked if I was calling the correct store. I asked if there was anything on my ticket I could give them to find my order. They said I could come back in the future for the correct sandwich. They we not ride but implied it was how I ordered the sandwich. I told them it couldn’t be how I ordered it when the ticket is correct but the sandwich is wrong. Read moreDid an online order for the first time, so I was not sure where I was supposed to pick up my food and didn’t realize that they kept the food behind the counter, which I have no problem with. When I walked in nobody noticed I was even in the door, nobody was behind the counter where they prepare the food, so I walked up to the register (the only person there) to ask the girl there if my order was ready because I didn’t know where to pick it up, again it was my first mobile over order. well the girl at the register asked another girl if my order was ready, and I walked over to the end of the counter and picked it up. The girl behind the counter who gave me my order, told me "not to bother the people down at the register" and to get someone near the food counter to give me my order next time. I told her when I walked in, there was no one there, and she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Extremely rude. if I had asked the same question over and over again, and was told the same response over and over again, I can understand the frustration and even the rudeness towards me. But I didn’t know, because this was my first time doing an online order. And quite frankly the entire place was empty except for one person filling up a drink. So I’m not sure what the big deal was answering a simple question, and handing my food over nicely and respectfully, because it’s not like they had a bunch of guests to attend you...
