Grease Bomb!

Save yourself some time, money, frustration, and grease and go to Taco Bell! I didn’t think that it was possible to be worse than Taco Bell, especially the one in Shawnee, but we have a new winner with Dos Reales Authentic Mexican Restaurant.

You can see in the pictures that the packing is incredibly poor, part of the tacos don’t even have meat in them, and the others are nearly floating away in so much grease. I think that you could power two or three vehicles with the amount of grease that exists in these few tacos. For the tiniest amount of meat that you did get in the tacos, it sadly was cold. There really is nothing redeeming about the food that was delivered for this order.

Adding further insult to injury, the bag of chips that was sent was nothing but chip shards and crumbles. Nearly all of the chips were the leftover bits in the bottom of a chip pan. Somehow this was okay to bag up and send out as part of an order. The salsa they sent with the chips was only half full and was bulging on the container, like it had gone bad or been over exposed to heat. I am not sure where the standards and accountability are at in this restaurant for the food and related products that they serve.

Overall, this is not only sad and frustrating, but a complete waste of money and time. Save yourself some hassle, get some better food, and save yourself some money by going to Taco Bell. For the little bit of food that I did try, it had a very medicinal flavor to it, and I am not sure why. Time to grab the activated charcoal to help minimize anything negative from the food. Fingers crossed that sickness does not set in...

If I could leave 0 Stars I would but here goes we arrived and the Chiefs game was on I asked if we could be seated in the dining room instead of the bar because it was too noisy. We get to the table and then we waited for 15-20 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order and there was no one in the restaurant ! We give our waitress the order and she has to come back several minutes later and ask what we ordered again and I suggested she use a pen and paper to write it down next time. She says she doesn’t speak English, but she spoke good enough English to take our order 2 times. 30 minutes later we finally get our food and the order is wrong my 2 crispy chicken tacos are soggy because they were put on the plate with my friends Spanish rice instead of on the side. The chips were cold and greasy but the worst thing was I told her that there was a fly 🪰 in my sauce, she didn’t apologize she was rude and she brought me more sauce WTW ? My friend said that the 2 cheese and onion enchiladas were cold and the onions were raw inside. We waited forever for the bill and I asked for a to go box which my friend ended up getting without the waitresses help . When I gave her the the bill after waiting for it for quite a while, she snatched it out of my hand ! Rudeness and disrespectful to the very few customers who were actually there seriously ? I will stick to my local Margaritas or go to Ponak’s or California Taqueria I will not give them another chance this is definitely the last time and the manager definitely didn’t...

Ordered food online 2 items. The only reason I ordered online is because no one was answering the phone. Website is HORRIBLE. First, the menu you can view IS NOT the menu you order from. Items are missing from the online ordering menu. Second, when you add something to the cart it says it added but still shows zero items until you physically look in the cart. Online ordering says 10-15 minutes. I get there and the guy says online orders never printed because the printer was out of paper. This is not acceptable!!

IT TOOK ME AN HOUR TO GET COLD UGLY FOOD MISSING BLACK BEANS (gave me refried) AND NO LETTUCE AND CHEESE I REQUESTED FOR FISH TACOS. THERE WAS SUCH LITTLE MEAT IN THE TACOS I ONLY NEEDED TWO OF THE SOGGY TORILLAS I WAS GIVEN. WITH CHIMICHANGA DINNER, NO CHEESE OR SOUR CREAM IT NORMALLY COMES WITH.

I even asked the guy when he brought my food (after standing in a crowded dining room for an hour) “did you double check it for accuracy?” And he says “ yes the beans the lettuce the cheese, everything is there.” NO IT WAS NOT.

I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS RESTAURANT FOR WELL OVER 10 YEARS BUT AFTER MY EXPERIENCE TODAY, I WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BEFORE DOS.
