I came in tonight, 5/31, with my boyfriend around 7:30 and it was kind of busy, friday night. The two boys on the line I think were new, seemed like they were having some trouble keeping up with restocking the food as people were ordering. But they were extremely polite and fast nonetheless and provided great service. I don’t remember seeing either of their names but our cashier I believ was Trina, who was checking people out and also assisting the boys with restocking and reminding them to call out needing restocks sooner than running out of the item. As someone who has worked in a lot of restaurants and knows how overwhelming it can be when you’re new and it’s a little busy and things feel like they’re going wrong, I appreciated the two boys attitudes toward the situation and how kind Trina was still being to them. She checked us out quickly and was also very polite.
A gentleman came in behind us who was standing alarmingly close to us and looking at every single move the boys made. he was horribly rude, rolling his eyes, and making mean comments about the portions and some stuff being low on stock. This especially made me want to leave a review commending the young men for how well they handled the man despite how overwhelming that may have been in the moment.
Great experience. Our favorite Chipotle in the area, we always go out of our way to this one and i’m glad we do :) always a...
Read moreWas not impressed with their service and usually I am a die hard Chipotle fan. Was not greeted, but rather stood in an empty line watching one gal fix six entrees for an apparent call in. Then when she finally got to us, she fixed the first half of ours and let it sit, getting cold while the male worker finally came over and did the 2nd half of the call in order. As if that wasnt bad enough the previous empty line was now almost to the door (and this is at 4:30), not even dinner time yet, when the order we watched prepared was ready just in time for this call in order lady who walks up to the counter while I'm standing with my money just wanting to pay and she's complaining about how she isn't getting her points for this order that I just watched them prepare for the last 15 minutes. The cashier who says she has no idea, still chooses to try to deal with this lady rather than keep the line moving, which goes to show they value their call in customers, but not their walk in. That's the last time I will be walking into, or ordering anything, from this Chipotle. Take a lesson from your 95th street sister Chipotle, who are ALWAYS swamped but keep their walkin customers moving thru at a fast rate, (and don't skimp on their portion size)! They do a great job with call in orders ALSO, because they do it from the back entrance, not have them cut in front of...
Read moreI was waiting in line while I got to watch an older employee with a mustache chastise the first employee on the line for accidentally giving someone two scoops of chicken. The way he was speaking to her, and about her to other employees was completely inappropriate. After he continued to ridicule her while she served 4 to 5 customers in front of me, she finally ran off the line almost in tears. I understand the have to keep an eye on portions, but following proper HR protocols is also important. An employee should never be reprimanded in front of a room of customers. There is a time and a place to address employee behavior and this wasn't appropriate at all.
After she ran off the line, I was helped by another employee. My carnitas were dry and contained tiny bones. My husband's chicken was also dry as sawdust, burnt, and lacked any seasoning at all. Perhaps if someone had been minding the grill instead of going off about one extra scoop of chicken, my food would have made properly or at least decent.
After the way they treat their employees in front of customers and then the horrible food, I won't be back. Congratulations! By worrying about that $3 extra scoop of chicken, and ignoring making palatable food, you've lost a customer that usually spent at least $60 a week at your location. Hope it...
