Purchased $1800.00 arm chair that does not fit through my bedroom door 32 inch. During the initial purchase the sales team did not ask me where the furniture would be placed. Did not receive any chair dimensions in advance to confirm if there would be an issue. Basically they were there to make a quick sale.
When I called to explain the problem the person answering the phone informed me the chair requires 36 inch door opening . Great, thanks for telling me after the sale and after the furniture was delivered.
Six months earlier purchased another expensive arm chair from same seller. Luckily if did fit through 32 inch door opening.
The furniture seller prices are higher than average to start with as compared to other sellers for the same manufacture/models. One would think their sales team would be of more value to their customers for that reason alone. Their response to the problem. Tough luck, special order, your problem, not ours. By the way, most of their furniture is special order. Their way of worming out of any customer issues.
Poor customer service all around. Because of their response, last time they will be receiving my business.
Replying to Sellers Response: Your delivery person is welcome to try and fit the chair through the door. I was not successful rotating the chair on its side and angling to fit through the door. Even if the chair legs were removable (they are not per your service team), the problem is the size and shape of the piece itself.
Please call to schedule your service team to give it a try. Thank You,
What is fee service $$ amount for fitting through the door. And if your team cannot fit through the door, are you expecting me to pay for that service? No reply to my question?
I picked up the arm chair myself. The chair was a bit to large for my Honda Pilot. I asked the staff if they had any twine, string or rope that I could have to hold down the hatch door. Was told they did not have any of these items. What! Fortunately, their was another customer waiting and they gave me a bungee cord. I offered to pay them and they said "just pay it forward." Wow! Great customer service from a complete stranger. The owners and staff at Bitterneumann, take notice.
I will pay the kindness forward to others. There are truly good people...
Read moreFrom 12/6/21 - 2/3/22 we have had service at our home on (5) separate occasions to troubleshoot the ice maker not working. A (6th) sixth appointment is scheduled for next week Tuesday (2/15/22) to replace another component on the ice maker. To date service has replaced, a mother board, power supply board, a 3rd smaller circuit board, the front control panel, a wiring harness for the left drawer, & most recently a new ice maker and it is still not working properly. I had Five (5 ) days of lost wages, & have paid over $500 since this started on 12/6. Currently I'm sitting on two unpaid service bills until the ice maker is working. At that time we shall see how Bitternewman reconcils the past & present service charges. Updated 7/10/22 - continued to troubleshoot the ice maker until 7/6/22 at which time I've been told the refrigerator is "unrepairable". This judgment came after 10 service calls. I contacted Whirlpool to speak with customer service and for a refund for the service calls I already paid for and they directed me back to Bitternewman. My initial discussion with Bitternewman was disappointing, they said they would not honor a refund and directed me back to Whirlpool saying "we didn't build the refrigerator, we also lose out on this with all of the service calls". I replied, Bitternewman represents the product I purchased and I paid you for repairing something that didn't fix the problem, Bitternewman needs to take this up with Whirlpool, not the consumer". Currently waiting for the Manager (Tim) to...
Read moreOn June 2nd, I thought I was purchasing a dishwasher and refrigerator.
I believe in buying local. Our people need our purchases.
Not with Bitter Neuman!
Please read my experiences and choose whether you want an experience similar to mine.
As if today, Bitter Neumann has over $3100 of my money since June 2nd and i have nothing but broken promises.
On June 2nd I was told my appliances would be delivered on July 17 due to coronovirus. It seemed like a long time but I again wanted to buy local. I agreed.
Since then my refrigerator died and Bitter Neumann sent a loaner. Exceot that loaner was a reject from a previous customer and the top freezer won't freeze and the bottom refrigerator freezes. After many phone calls, they sent a repair person who only taped close the vent holes on the refrigerator and said it was fixed.
Did not do a thing!
Since passing July 17, I've been given 4 additional dates of delivery only for those dates to pass and I get more excuses and a new future delivery date.
Now my future date is September 22nd.
I will update this if or when I actually get the $3100 or my appliances.
Please contact me if you need to verify this.
** After posting this review of Bitter Neuman, I received a voice mail from "Dan".
He said others were in the same situation as I am.
Is this something to brag about?
He did not suggest refunding my money nor address the unworkable loaner refrigerator.
Will keep...
