Starbucks — Restaurant in Sheboygan

Update to the update to the update: Back to running smoothly, but one star off because once a month or so, my drink will be shorted by several ounces.

Update to the update: Service has improved somewhat over the last year or fewer people come here now — not sure which. But the dangerous lines from before have abated. The ‘price’ of this is a slower mobile order time. I now order while still in Oostburg to ensure that my drink is ready when I arrive.

Update: This Starbucks has taken a turn for the worse. The drive thru line now moves really slowly and frequently wraps on to a main thoroughfare, causing dangerous traffic situations. When I do use this place, I put in a mobile order ahead of time instead.

Consistently REALLY efficient in the mornings at the drive through. Can process a line of cars that reaches the street in less than five minutes. In 18 months of going to this Starbucks, they have made an error in my order only once, and they corrected it before I reached the window. Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing...

I don't know if anyone will read this from the sheboygan store. But I wanted to say thank you to the young man at the drive in window today. I dont know if he could tell, but I was having a very rough day and decided to go for a ride to clear my brain, and thought starbucks coffee would help cheer me up. He was so kind, and may have been a stranger, but he reached out and started conversation with me, asking how my day was and after saying "I've had better days, thats what brought me here." He continued to carry conversation and made me feel so much better. He doesnt know what his kindness did for me today. And I will never be able to thank him. As miserable as he was in his mask for God knows how many hours, he still treated a distraught customer with kindness. Remember everyone, you have no idea what other people are going through. 5 STARS ALL AROUND! It is not often a Starbucks sticks out as better than the rest....but this location did just that. I posted up from about 10:30AM-3:00PM to take work calls, answer emails, etc. I started the day with my favorite drink (Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso), and later grabbed a lunch snack (Jalapeno Chicken Pocket). Both were great and one of the team members made her own personal recommendation of something to pair with the Jalapeno Chicken Pocket...cream cheese, to which I of course tried. She was right! The staff called me by name throughout the day, checking if I needed anything and asking how my work calls were going. I watched them treat all of the customers that came in with the same kindness and attention they did me which was so amazing.
