When I was apartment hunting just before I graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Shelburne Falls was my #1 choice as a place to live. I ended up in Northampton in the end because of the fact that Noho was more convenient for me, but I looked at a few different apartments in Shelburne Falls.
Plus, one of my jobs was at Berkshire East Mountain Resort, so Shelburne Falls is just a short drive down the Mohawk Trail from Zoar Outdoor, Berkshire Whitewater and BE. ❤️ this town! It has a distinct charm and character that is different from the all the other places in the area. Mocha Maya's was my FAVORITE Coffee Shop. Also ❤️'d the Red Dahlia Cafe. The Bridge of Flowers was my FAVORITE place when I was in Shelburne Falls to just sit or walk along and have a good stroll.
Shelburne Falls also has the AMAZING head location of Raven Used Books (and I'd been coming up to Raven ALL during college) compared to the Northampton location which was tiny.
