I have gone in shop more than I ever should’ve purchased items I should’ve never contributed to company here’s Y I moved here 3yrs ago to beautiful village with my now 6yo daughter just the2 of us when 1st here car was not on road,did a lot of walking 1st summer explored village went in shops. 1of the 1st made purchased in town was from here.I bought a dress, pants, hat then I went back 2 get daughter a dress she insisted on, when she asked I did not have $& went back to get. I purchased multiple pieces of jewelry. The last few times I went in w/daughter 2window shop or pass time, last time I made a purchase, was alone & treated ok, every time with or without daughter, I’m followed, watched like hawk it’s quite offensive, I’m used to it & assume it’s just bc the way I look & associated with drug addict Im in recovery 9yrs july Im petite & thin not by choice,feel people associate skinniness w/drugs, I get judged a lot & used to it.don’t like to affect my kid.they act as if I’m going to steal I never have stolen anything even my worst days 8+yrs ago I wasn’t a thief.all rather minor complaints & get businesses have loss,a nice unique & expensive merchandise even for owner I’m sure doesn’t want to take loss due 2 sticky fingers I wouldn’t.But also wouldn’t make visitors uncomfortable 2point of not returning I would get📹 in all views,sit appear 2 not b watching, not for nothing I moved here bc of how safe town is I’ve left car running keys in it, purse in car,don’t lock doors crime rate is basically0% other than summer I’m sure most customers r people she’s seen before or knows if she doesn’t wanna pay for 📹 rather watch people who thinks looks would steal will come w/negative reviews & non returning, what upset me & got to write this is when I go in to window shop or purchase w/daughter still watched like hawk followed Even when I tell them I’m just looking stand staring@me while in meantime, others could b jacking them that’s besides the point hurts my❤️&6yo feelings when owner regardless if there when walk in, always ends up popping up for instance, THE LAST TIME she doesn’t have to worry about us,(ODD owner & me bonded so I thought wheN 1st convo we both r FRM Cape & have KIDS around same age. I told her how mine has high energy, she gave me advice etc. I didn’t have her with me this time)last time there daughter was reminded owner is w/ kids so she was on best behavior very lightly & cautiously using lil drums looked @point saying is this OK bc employee who darted to me asking if I needed anything staring @me as I looked in glass display case had no problem with it then owner came in I got tense & said something like lightly lightly tap & no touch anything else owner says to daughter generally shouldn’t touch things in stores she said the funniest thing when we left I said we’re not going there ever every time we do, she always has a issue I told my daughter it’s not u it’s me, I don’t appreciate her defending 1 of many yuck interactions.daughter said yeah what the heck I wanted to say geez lady if people don’t touch anything, then you will b out of business lol , I said that is on point I would say if you have children who are energetic maybe like to touch things even if they don’t I wouldn’t bring kids in even with owner having kid, clearly hers is a saint bc she’s very judgey if u ever been judged based on appearance, wouldn’t go bc they’re gonna make you feel uncomfortable Prices bc stuff handmade & unique.understandable However, they do have things that r overpriced u could get elsewhere for quarter or less of price. I purchased clips can use on earring to make a clip on earring & forget what I paid, I felt like an idiot when I came home & looked on Amazon, had a pack of 20 for less than what paid for2. All im trying to say is I rarely review would never write negative1 but seems my complaint isn’t 1st of its kind either owner herself has been rude to my daughter which hurt me & her feelings & she’s not correct about only speaking to her bc I had I told her to not touch...

A lot of shade was thrown on the owner’s attitude by other reviews that almost turned me off from checking it out, but went there today & she was totally cool, super helpful. The prices on clothes were really steep, but the prices on jewelry & incense were competitive, the same incense burners were literally half the price I’ve found them elsewhere, and there’s an excellent collection of various quality wares. The clothes selection is also splendid & beautiful. I don’t know, maybe the other reviewers were the problem or the lady was having a bad day, but today was cool & the shop is awesome. Will def be back with more money to burn. 😂 There are some serious purchases to make in that place & you just can’t find the stuff anywhere - not even online - very easily at all. Might rate a 5 to counteract the other reviews. I feel like...

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this shop. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted with awesome music and a really nice vibe. As I looked around I realized this was not a typical little boutique. The quality of the clothes, the shoes the artwork around the shop is very different. I immediately had to compliment the owner on her very good eye for style. You would assume the prices would be much higher because of how different everything is but everything was reasonably priced for what you are getting. The owner also mentioned a snippet on how the show Dexter was filmed in her shop and what huge changes had to happen which was pretty amazing but I will leave that story for your visit. If you are in Shelburne or actually anywhere, you have to stop by. I can't wait to go back. P.S I bought a really nice hat!...
