Both my daughter and I have mild food poisoning after eating there yesterday / Mother’s Day— it’s the only thing we shared the entire day. It started as a headache about 30 minutes after (unusually get those from flavor enhancers like MSG but can’t say if used in her cooking or not and wouldn’t be the cause of food poisoning anyway). The sick feeling progressed from there. We’re both in bed today (the day after) with ongoing bathroom trips and feeling yuck. We shared the Lamb over rice and an order of grape leaves. Given the great reviews I’m guessing this is an unusual occurance. The woman cooking and serving was welcoming though has trouble with basic English. Atmosphere is outdoors bare picnic tables w/out anything special to add— it’s in the cute town of Shelburne Falls so that’s that. It’s a food truck. Exactly as expected. Her husband seemed a little controlling standing over her and I had to wait for him to finish speaking with her when I came back to the window for sauce- it was a little weird. I don’t have the heart to give only 1 star bc...

Overseeing the Deerfield River and adjacent to the visitor center, the food served here is rustic and original, encapsulating the natural aspects of western New England.
For starters, the moussaka champions the eggplant which is complemented with the sweetness of farm grown bell peppers and tomatoes. In addition, the steamed soft pita is a match made in heaven.
The falafel is unique in its own right. Nice bite sized pieces. Very rare since this is made with fava beans.
The rice platters with beef and chicken are absolutely amazing. Both proteins are very tender and melts in your mouth. The distinct flavors of each spice can be tasted and well infused. The rice is cooked to perfection with each grain separated.
One would hope, that this food cart will transform into a restaurant in the...
Read moreHappened upon the food truck while exploring my hometown with my children and boyfriend. I asked if my dietary restrictions could be accommodated, as I only eat meat and vegetables, no grains. They were very kind about preparing a meal that I could eat. I had the chicken and salad with fresh hummus. It was absolutely delicious. My youngest daughter decided she wanted a “burrito” made from the chicken and tortilla, and they happily obliged her in making an off menu food for a reasonable price. My oldest daughter had a plain salad, and loved it. The day was great, the weather was well suited for outdoor eating and the view of the Deerfield River was beautiful. We could hear Salmon Falls as we ate yummy food. We are very pleased and satisfied. Highly recommend. I would drive here again from out of state to eat here again. Phenomenal service and...
