This is a nice and large city park. It is bordered by the river and has a bridge and walkway so you can check it out. The playground area is nice and in very good condition. There is a large area for the younger kids with short slides, swings and a fire truck they can play in. The bigger kids also have a large playground with tall slides and equipment more age appropriate. The ice cream stand serves up the perfect cold treat for the hot summer days. Don't forget to check out the elk and Buffalo that live in the large fenced area with the barn as you exit the park. Definitely worth taking the family when in Sheridan.
