Trail End State Historic Site — Attraction in Sheridan

The Kendrick Mansion was a fun little detour. The home is in excellent condition and over 95% of the furnishings are original to the home, so it's a great way to see how a wealthy person would live back then. This Flemish Revival mansion is a treasure. If you love historic architecture, this is a must see! Self guided, but with informed staff onsite, you can really get a sense of life in this home because of the details on display that are of the family and the era. It as very hot there but I liked it. My mom was in the ball room and she startsmed to feel light headed and hot but as soon as she got out of the room she was perfectly fine. We took pictures from the outside of the mansion and you could she siloetttes of people 1 woman, 2 kids a girl and a boy. From my camera I saw a man. It was cool yet kinda creepy.
