Amazing staff! As background, I'm by no means an expert runner (10-12 miles a week) but I do like good shoes as I'm getting older and have one back surgery under my belt. I typically find a style that works and stick with it until they change the fit and I have to buy a new version. When I walked in today the staff made me feel immediately welcome and got to helping me as if I was a star athlete. I explained my running style and after a gait analysis, they brought out the first shoe. It was a perfect fit but just to be sure, they brought out 3 others, explaining why they were different and encouraging me to walk around the store and try them each out. The staff was attentive, without hovering, and allowed me to evaluate each shoe without being pushy. You could tell they really want you to have a good experience and a good fit. While I was walking around the store, a couple other customers came in with different needs and different fitness journeys, and the staff matched their needs independently. You can tell they know their merchandise and match you to the right shoe. Best of all, they were fast and had good stock (even for my big feet) and I had the perfect shoe in 20 minutes. It's not just a normal shoe store, it's a personalized experience. They watch you walk first and make observations and slowly choose shoes as you keep walking. After nearly a dozen pairs of shoes, my daughter had settled on a specific kind. The color isn't my top choice, but they're also not my shoes. They do have the availability to order a color you like and they could be available for pickup in a couple of days. Not my business for what the shoes cost because all that matters is that she can now go for a walk and not be in pain. I purchased a pair of ASICS and was happy with the service. 2 months later I brought the shoes in because one shoe had a hole in the heel which was causing a blister. Teenager in the store said they couldn’t do anything because I wore the shoes! The teenager called “Sean” who said they would exchange for the exact same shoe. I asked what if I have the same problem? He said they would not take care of it. I voiced my dissatisfaction however; he didn’t care. These shoes were worn only on a treadmill and did not have 100 miles on them. I would never recommend this store. I would have continued to buy my shoes there and recommend.
