DO NOT GO HERE. My wedding dress only needed minor adjustments. I did lots of research and saw great reviews. I took it in April, and she made me feel great. I needed the bust 1 cup size smaller, and a French Bustle. I noticed something was stabbing my back. She said it’s the boning, and assured me that removing it wouldn’t ruin the structure of the dress. Then, I had a family emergency. I needed my dress ASAP. I messaged her and she was accommodating and asked when I needed it. I told her I don’t want a rushed job, so however long she needs. She said she’ll get it to me in two weeks, with no extra charge. I picked it up yesterday. I could no longer zip it. Natasha could, but I felt like if I moved at all it would bust. I bent forward slowly, and heard a rip. Part of the fabric in the bust had ripped. Her response was, “It was already like that.” She told us that we need a screwdriver to undo the bustle. Bizarre. I had a few beads falling off in the store. It was a new problem, but she responded, “well I can’t re-bead the entire thing!” Finally, the silhouette of the dress had changed. I said I wanted the bust brought in. Maybe it was miscommunication, but I just wanted the cups to fit my body. She brought in the sides of the bust, changing the silhouette to a gorgeous flare to a clamp highlighting my insecurities. The removed boning caused the dress to now fold along my back. Contrary to what she told me, the structure was gone. Still, something was stabbing me. At this point, it was no longer MY dress. As I was checking out, she said that if I leave a positive review on Google, it’s 10% off my order. That’s how my research into SEVERAL alteration shops went wrong. After I left, I called where I got my dress and explained the situation. They recommended another seamstress, so I went for a second opinion. This seamstress said she cannot zip me into this dress, because it is now 6 INCHES too small. She had taken out enough fabric that not only could it not be fixed, but the only option now is to add a corset. I initially told Natasha she could add a corset because I love the look of them. Now, that choice is taken from me. Instead of having a beautiful corset that flatters my figure, I’ll have a corset because it looks like I bought a dress that was too small for me. She told me the bustle is “botched,” she would need to redo it. After I told her where I got it altered, she said, “I’ve heard PLENTY of horror stories about her. I would demand a refund because she mutilated your dress.” She used the term MUTILATED on my dress. I’m thankful that Natasha could expedite it because if I had gotten this in June, there would have been nothing I could do about it. I even looked into buying the dress again to start alterations from scratch. I reached out and she said she’d give a partial refund, $250 off of $418, and would appreciate it if I edited my review. I’m thankful for anything at this point, but she gave me a refund of $240. Not enough to reach back out, but petty. I kept the specifics to myself in my initial review, but since she asked me to edit it, I decided to share my entire experience. I know everyone makes mistakes, but between the silhouette shape, the bustle, and the refund, it’s just A LOT of mistakes for someone who is 30 years into the business. I told her I would edit it to include the positives, so I’ll say again that I do appreciate that: A. She expedited my order. B. She seems like a nice woman. C. She gave me a partial refund. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I need to warn you to STAY AWAY. I wish I could redo this whole experience. I’ve added photos, which speak for themselves. I broke down & showed my fiance and he said you could see that my joy had faded. This is no longer MY wedding dress. I’m hoping it can somehow be fixed to resemble what it once did.

I cannot say enough wonderful thing about Natasha’s Tailoring and Bridal Boutique! Natasha worked her magic on my dress, and I truly felt like Cinderella. When I ordered my dress offline it was exactly flattering on me, but when she hemmed it she did so perfectly, adjusted the bust, did a 5 point bustle, and took in the waist just enough to make it feel like the gown was made just for me. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She didn’t stop until everything laid just right and I was completely in love with the way I looked at felt. From the moment I walked in, Natasha was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt happy. I so deeply appreciated her patience, her eye for perfection, and her clear passion for what she does. I especially appreciated her patentice since I was picky on how I wanted my dress to look on me. Thanks to her, I feel beautiful, confident, and entirely myself in my dress. I would recommend Natasha to absolutely anyone looking for tailoring or bridal alterations. She is a tailor who saw what I wanted and made it real.

I needed 5 sets of alterations when my daughter got married and they were not great. So when my son got married I started looking for a new place. I really like the reviews so I called Natasha and loved what I heard. The dress I wore for the wedding was long with embroidery and beading and needed a lot done. Everything was done perfect in one set, including moving embroidery and beading after shortening it. Natasha listens, makes sure she knows what you want, and also has excellent advice. I also had her alter the dress for rehearsal dinner. It was strapless so she added cups so I wouldn't need a bra. It was perfect and natural looking. The entire set of alterations was perfect in one sitting. Since then I have brought in 3 more dresses. All Natasha's seamstresses are excellent, friendly, patient and make sure you look good. Every detail is thought of. I can't recommend this place enough! They will be getting all my business!

I am really disappointed with my experience at Natasha's, especially since the other reviews here are exceptional. This was my first time going here and I'm sad to say I won't be back. Natasha was there that day and was very sweet and I was excited to return to pick up my dress. I left my dress for a waistline adjustment and a small change to the way the dress fastens at the top (change criss-cross straps on back to halter neck tie). I waited until two days passed our agreed upon pick-up date to call and check in, since I hadn't received a call from them. I was told on he phone that my dress was ready for pick up. When I arrived, I was truly shocked to find out that the alterations for my $60 short party dress was $110... making the total investment on the dress $170! If I had known the cost to take-in the waist of my dress would cost me almost double what I paid for the dress itself, I would have returned the dress (the tags were still on when I dropped it off). But that wasn't the worst part. I got to my car and looked at the dress more closely and realized that the dress was unfinished! There were still stubs from where the dress was cut perfectly visible and the neckline change I asked for hadn't been touched. I went back inside to and when I explained why I was back, the man at the counter seemed irritated, used a tone and made faces as if I was being unreasonable... He went to the back of the store for awhile and came out with one of the seamstresses, she was very nice and assured me she could fix the dress in about 15 minutes. Afterward the dress looked nice, but the man continued to be unprofessional until I left. Overall, I don't think Natasha's is the place to go for every day service or value. This place may be better suited for bridal only. I've had more expensive bridesmaid dresses altered for a fraction of the cost at other places in Hales Corners...

I had previously posted to get the 10% off but after going to another tailor for alterations that Natasha’s team could not do I felt the need to correct it. I was recommended to Natasha’s tailoring by the bridal dress store (only 10 tailors made the list in Milwaukee so I felt pretty comfortable at first). I had a fit and flare dress that needed to be hemmed/bustled, let out in the hips, and bust taken in. All of her alterations were corrected by the other tailor: -She only offered an under bustle which did not look right with the style of the dress as it was a stiffer fabric making a wrinkled appearance. She also added cheap craft beads to the OUTSIDE of the train to mark the bustle areas. I never asked for beads as it conflicted with the simple style of the dress. -She let the hips out half an inch but it was still snug in the thighs but due to the dress style she declined to let out further as it would ‘ruin the dress shape.’ This was disheartening as I could barely sit with her minimal alterations. -As for the bust she took in the strap for a better fit but the cups were still gapping when I bent over or moved my arms which made me very uncomfortable. Her suggestion was to use double sided tape. The other tailor took up the straps further and cut the arm holes lower to allow a better fit (again something that Natasha never even offered me).

Altogether my impression was that she only wanted to fix a simple hem or minimum modification. Even the hem was done lazily as the extra fabric from the lining was stuffed in side the seam causing an unflattering billowing look with the seam showing.

I did reach out to her after corrected alterations were made and prior to me writing this review. She refused to provide any reimbursement but had the nerve to ask that I bring in the dress for her to review (probably to improve...
