Great place to take the kids in show low. The playground is large with some cool features not found at other playgrounds (i.e. the chimes and xylophone, and other fun features). The surface is a soft, spongy rubber that makes falls less painful ( like when I fell goofing off on a balancing feature lol) . It is shade covered as well with wheelchair accessible ramps.
And the splash pad is great on a hot day!!! Yes the water is somewhat cold as others have said, but when it's 80+ degrees, that's what you want. Highly recommend for the kids.
There are limited tables to sit at for the adults, so if it's a very busy day and you want to sit, perhaps take your own chairs...

The open soccer field is an ideal place to toss a ball around. No pets are permitted on the field, however. Many local events take place here throughout the summer. The season kicks off with the City of Show Low's BBQ Throw Down in May. Read moreWe love coming here with our boys! There is something for everyone, and we love that it is surrounded by a fence, so little wanderers can't sneak off or get into the road. And the splash park is great during the summer. We recently did birthday parties here for both our boys, and there are ramadas with tables that your unfortunately cannot rent, but we've never had a hard time getting one. THIS PARK IS NOT FOR DOGS!
