I actually didn't visit the Barn, I visited the House, which is the food side of the creamery which is the ice cream or I am supposing was the desert side. I found the place just ok. Mind you it was a Wednesday night nothing much going on. I was told that this place was fabulous and had good BBQ. My wife and I are not real big eaters but like quality food so we stopped to check it out and were totally disappointed. They not only were not a open BBQ house their $10 + burger was marginal at best. I have had much better burgers at a MiMi's Cafe or a Red Robin, or even the Tilted Kilt. I found the meat to be a good quality but the seasoned taste was dry and bland like not even salted or peppered while being cooked. They seem to make a big deal that they serve their house made potato chips with the burger and again not to my wife or my liking and certainly not anything special. Maybe need to go to french fries. We got the place checked off and will keep looking for the better places to eat around the Show Low area. Prices do not reflect the quality or the taste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSuper cool little ice cream shop. Love the rustic farm feel and decor inside. I ordered a brownie with coffee ice cream, almonds and chocolate sauce. I tried to order a brownie Sunday, but the sweet girl who took my order looked at me like I had two heads lol. So I just ordered what she called "brownie a la mode". I would have preferred to get what I'd expect from a brownie Sunday: brownie, ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, and walnuts. This is really the only reason why I gave this place less than 5 stars. I guess I expect an old-time looking shop like this to know all the ins and outs of ice cream and sundae making. Maybe they're new. Or maybe I'm just an easy coaster who has a different idea of what a sundae is. I did really enjoy my brownie a la mode (GREAT brownie!), and look forward to going back someday. Maybe the brownie sundae will make the menu š¤Ŗ. Definitely go! The baked goods looked on point. I gained like 5 pounds just thinking about all the desserts I'd like...

They have live music every night and the owner was even telling me about how tonight was a build your own mac & cheese Bar. Everybody I talked to was incredibly nice.
The ice cream was top-notch, there were a ton of options in the ice cream shop and they also had a bunch of bakery items too. They had a peanut butter and jelly and butter pecan ice cream and I got both of them in a cone and it was perfection. Kids got cookies and cream and peanut butter flavored ice cream creams which they also loved. They had some dairy free options as well.
I wish we couldāve stayed all night and listened to the live music and had some burgers and mac & cheese, but this just gives me another reason to come back. 100% kid friendly, we stayed for over an hour just playing Jenga...
