Sierra Madre Playhouse — Attraction in Sierra Madre

This is such a cute little theatre (99 seats, I think) with amazing talent. So far I've seen a silent movie with live music, avant garde classical music, and modern dance. There are so many professional performing artists in the area. The schedule is eclectic and interesting. The ticket prices are very fair and affordable. Ample parking in city lots within a block and Sierra Madre has lots of cute restaurants to try before and after shows. The staff are very friendly and clearly it's a labor of love. First of all, I’ve been a number of times and I really like the Playhouse I like their inclusivity. Their size is just tiny and virtually insignificant in the world of theater, but the quality of the work that they presented is beyond the margins of their walls. Had a wonderful and emotional night with Joy Luck Club. My mom and I saw the movie when it first came out so we were excited to take my daughter to hear the message. A mother's love never sways. I cried. The actors we're so moving. When Bing fell in the water. Aw man, that really got me. It was a wonderful surprise to see my daughter's co-worker in the play. Awesome night. We'll be back....
