I was excited to visit this restaurant, especially after hearing about their gluten-free crepes, but unfortunately, the experience was a complete disappointment from start to finish.
Upon arrival, we waited five minutes at the entrance per the sign’s instructions, but no one came to greet or seat us. Eventually, we flagged someone down, who casually told us to sit wherever we wanted. Once seated, we waited a few more minutes before someone came by to take our drink order. While the drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time, the requested water never came.
Things only went downhill from there. After waiting 20 minutes, we attempted to place our food order, but the employee we asked said, “I’m not a server,” and rushed off instead of helping us get a server. Frustrated, I went inside to request assistance, and they assured me someone would be out shortly. However, another five minutes passed without anyone showing up, so we flagged someone else to place our order.
30 minutes later, still no food. When we went inside to check, we were informed that our order hadn’t even been entered yet. At that point, we were about to be late for a show and has to leave.
It’s baffling how poorly this restaurant is managed. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service made this an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I was really looking forward to trying their gluten-free crepes, but I’ll never know if they’re any good because I won’t be returning. What a waste of time.

Read moreMy friend treated me to one of his favorite spots for a belated birthday brunch. This is my first time eating at this restaurant.
It's in Sierra Madre, small but very cozy. The atmosphere is casual and the decor reminds you of a French cafe! I noticed that it was very clean inside.
The service is on point!!!! We did not have to flag anyone down for water, coffee refills, etc..
We both had the quiche and soup combo-potato leek soup, spinach and goat cheese quiche $18.95. I had a side of fresh fruit $5.95 and coffee $2.95. It was very very delicious expecially the soup!!!! Oh my God!!!! 😋😋😋
The portions were big! My part was $27.85 before tax. But who's counting, he was treated me out for my belated birthday! 😆
Needless to say, we were both very full and satisfied. Such as life, we sat there for a bit to let the food digest so we could get up and walk later. 😆😆😆
Yes, we had dined sufficiently!!!! After about 40 minutes we got up and walked around town and enjoyed the day.
This place is good enough for about 3 maybe 4 people to dine comfortablely. It's a bit noisy but full of laughter and people enjoying the food and each other's company!!!
I would definitely be coming back to try some other items on the menu but mostly for the warm, and friendly dining...
Read moreMonsieur Crêpe un petit français crêpe et café that offer a unique cali-french food that you can enjoy. They're located on Sierra madre blvd between Baldwin ave and Windsor Ln. We came here to grab petit déjeuner before going hiking. As you enter you will see the open kitchen and you will have to order at the counter first before taking a table/seat. Interior atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. It's interior decor is plain especially their massive white wall albeit decorated with small French arts and culture. Indoor dining has nine small wooden tables and has a maximum capacity of 20 people; outdoor front patio has 12 max capacity seats. We ordered coffee and les baguette veggie sandwiches (spinach, cucumbers, roasted bell peppers, grilled onions, feta cheese, avocado, pesto aioili and balsamic dressing) that come with green salad. It was tasty, flavorful and healthy. Je l'ai aimé. Their coffee was unlimited and brewed perfectly. Staff were competent, attentive and professional. Service was moderately fast. Prices were reasonable and competitive. Street parking and lot is available. Overall, we had a wonderful breakfast experience and will comeback for their Crêpes and...
