355 Burger — Restaurant in Sierra Madre

3rd best burger in town.

Not the worst burger but certainly not the best. If you’re going to only serve burgers and have burger in the name of the restaurant I’d assume you absolutely love burgers and want to share the best, freshest, juiciest, most delicious burgers around. Unfortunately I didn’t feel that love or dedication to making an amazing burger. It seemed more like a ball field burger than a burger shop burger.

Burger patty lacked seasoning. Lettuce, tomato, and cheese could be better quality. Fries felt like they arrived pre-sliced, would love for them to be made in house.

Will give another try in a month or so and see if things have improved.

Revisited 11/22/24, all the same issues. Burger not seasoned at all even after requesting extra seasoning, low quality produce. Ketchup is even the cheap stuff. No good drinks. All these issues could be solved in one day and this place would be the busiest place in town, instead there were 3 people in there on Friday at noon. There are better burgers just a short walk in...

The menu is very basic- just single and double burgers, with or without cheese, fries, and soft drinks- but the execution is good. The burgers are California-style, with modest patties and plenty of lettuce, tomato, pickles, and optional grilled onions. If you like it veggie forward, get the single; if you want more meat, go for the double. It's a solid version of the California burger. The atmosphere needs more work, but it seems to be improving. Definitely on the basic side rather than a fancy place, but that fits the basic menu. Save space for the churro, which is exceptional. They're perfectly cooked, and they don't overdo it with cinnamon sugar, so you can get a good taste...

Nice little place with basic burgers --- think In-N-Out. Similar types and variations of burgers but with better fries. Fresh ingredients - tomato, lettuce, onions. Similar patty size, tasty. Fries are seasoned and battered with coating. Smallish local SM place - walk able, nice A/C on a hot day. Bazooka Bubble Gum is a nice signature add on. Compare apples to apples - when you evaluate this place. Not a premium burger place, not paying premium prices. ...
