I stopped by the Arts Group today to do a little early Xmas shopping and pick up information about classes. As there were flags out front and an OPEN sign on the door I naturally thought this was proper. I was in the store for maybe a minute when an very unfriendly woman asked me CAN I HELP YOU! with a very sour look on her face. I replied that I was shopping, she then said WE ARE CLOSED, I said there is an open sign on the door, she gave me a another very nasty look, told me the office was open but not the store and ushered me to the door. I was told they were getting ready for an art event and I could come back tomorrow, Like many volunteer organizations, some volunteers seem to feel that it makes them superior people just for giving of their time, I will not be going back. CAG also have the most fantastic garage sale late in the summer. I usually donate and buy. My kids have taken several of their classes and loved it.
