I heard in 2024 that the viewing date was set too early, March 17. Well, in 2025, the date was set too late, April 12. We saw a lot of green leaves and just few blossoms. We went early, but those who waited until noon or so were waiting in a very long line for the shuttle, and when they got there at the house, they waited even longer, only to see those few wistaria blossoms. The harp player was good, though. Overall, unfortunately, this was such a waste of time and money ($15 per person to see leaves). Read moreThe Guinness record of largest blossoming plant, wistaria vine. We went there April 12 2025. This year they set the opening date too late. The blossom already pasted the peak. Only a few flowers left. You can choose to take shuttle there from downtown. We park east side two blocks away for free. We arrived at around 2:30 and waited for 15min to get in. Not too bad. Tour takes about 15 min. The plant is large indeed! You can pick up seeds of the vine there if you want to plant them in the future! Or just grab a free seeds bag if you like! Each year, the owners of the two houses are allowing one day in the spring for the public viewing. To my opinion, it is over rated for this wisteria vine. It is not blooming so much anymore.
