Walking distance from the Buccaneer, VP makes a great pizza. I order the medium “works”, fresh ingredients. They also have the optional NY and Detroit style. Walked back to Buccaneer to watch the rest of the game! Second visit was the Torpedo hot sandwich. Worth it. Although they were busy and understaffed on a Friday night, they still got my phone order on time and with a smile. It’s understaffed everywhere! Detroit slice also worth it but sell out fast. By game time, only the pepperoni and NYC slice are avail. Still great pizza with great ingredients. You can always tell how fresh the pepperoni is by the curl after cooking. VP has great curl.

Small take out brick and mortar pizza joint with outside seating. The Meat Lovers is out of control with the amount of toppings you get! Don't trip on the price, it's 2 or 3 of the "other guys" meat lovers pies combined! Never late with a delivery and ready for pick up in the time stated when you order. This place is great and you're going to wait for it. This isn't a chain store. It's worth the wait. 4 stars on food since I've never tried any other pies in 11 years. But the family loves what they get. 4 stars on the atmosphere because that's not their focus, the pizza is! But it's what you'd expect and nicely done. Big menu on the wall, too.

My friend and me were first time customers. The 2 young girls working behind counter were courteous and respectful. The wall menu albeit simple still seemed overwhelming. It was overwhelming in a very good way - the pizza was scrumptious. We had the village works pizza which was gigantic and tasty. We had enough to bring home 4 slices. We'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

I'm a fairly simple man. I was born to a police officer and nurse in a rust belt town in northeast Pennsylvania. Never took my SAT's, went to a community college. Some might say that I don't know about the fine things in life, but I do know a thing or two about pizza.

I ordered a plain cheese slice and a pepperoni Detroit-style slice. The cheese slice was surprisingly good. The dough was soft and chewy, the sauce somewhat sweet and the cheese nicely melted. Reminded me of a place I enjoyed growing up called 3 Guys in Dallas, Pennsylvania.

The Detroit style wasn't quite as satisfying but there wasn't anything wrong with it either. It was very crispy and consisted of obvious quality ingredients. The price was a little more than I expected but I don't mind paying if it's good, and this was good! Highly recommended if you're hungry for pizza in...

This place was once a fine pizzeria , but all good things must end. Ordered a extra large double pepperoni for delivery, they said 25 minutes, well 1 hour and 10 minutes go by and the girl that works the front counter delivers my pizza and said sorry there was a problem and here is a cookie for waiting an hour and 10 minutes ( some black and white bisquit ) I ended up throwing away. I tip her and say "things happen", she leaves, open my pizza and it was all coagulated, like when you see pizza the next morning. damn....Well things do happen .....so I stop by and order 4 pieces of pizza by the slice ( almost $15.00 ) and take home. I get home and damn only 3 pieces ....almost $5.00 a slice. I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one.... I swear..... I guess it's back to pizza hut...
