Game X Change of Siloam Springs — Attraction in Siloam Springs

Okay changing the Gundam section is the final straw for me. Here I am- reviewing a game store because it's gotten so bad that corporate needs to get their crap together.

First, the employees are wonderful and are trying their best, they just don't seem to have any support from the owners. I've seen them get screamed at for things that didn't make sense and they aren't allowed to stand up for themselves.

I've been buying stuff and someone will walk right up and slap the NASTIEST box of junk on the counter that they still buy in (gross) apparently half of it is broken, because I've bought 3 broken controllers in a row. Horrible business practice. They also seem to buy in stuff that no one wants, like power tools??? It's a gaming store! That's taking away floor space from your actual selling points. Why not look at the actual things that people are buying like DVD's and stop buying in the giant 80$ plushies that have been sitting there for like 3 years. Does no one in corporate have a business degree?

They used to take pride in the store and it was set up really nice, everything had a proper section, things were within reach, then they started doing stuff like placing stuff in unprofessional plastic bins inside the glass so you have to ask the employee to just look at a controller "It was a corporate decision". No gamer wants to interact with people!! We are introverts! I'd rather not buy the thing if I can't see it myself. "Yea, we can't do anything about it, it was a corporate decision". Now it's the Gundam section, it used to be perfectly organized buy grade and series. Now it's random so you can't fins anything and the boxes are stacked weird so it's harder to get to... Also there are less boxes in the front of the store this way? I mean sure I could ask the employees but if they are busy then I'm not going to bother them, once again ...introvert. When asked about the change..."It was a corporate decision".

They've never said anything bad, but the dejection in the employees eyes told me everything. Corporate you have employees who LOVE what they do and they are good at it. They are in the store everyday and know what we want, I've seen the same people there for the past like 3-5 years, just let them run the store. If you're worried about money then I GUARANTEE that you would see more income that way because what you are doing now is not working.

You all never have any discounts, or promotions! What's with that? You guys seem to have stuff that hasn't sold in years! Make fun cheep mystery boxes or something.

And no social media? You guys don't even have a billboard! Half my gaming friends didn't even know about this place and word of mouth only goes so far for antisocial gamers.

You're doing your employees dirty and you are doing your customers dirty and you are losing...

Visiting from out of town and decided to stop on and see what they have. They have a pretty large selection of games, some tcg, and other items (plushies, shirts, etc).

Jackson was very helpful and I needed up buying a few packs of magic the gathering. Their prices on sealed are a little above market, but their singles are right at market price.

They had a sale sign on figures and various items. But it was very confusing and ultimately a small fraction of the items were actually on sale. The sale sign had been there for months and did not match the updated pricing. Besides the confusing sales, the experience overall was good.

Customer service 10/10. Sale signage 3/10. I would...

I bought a blue ray 2 months ago for $6 and got offered .30 cents for it 2 months later.Mint Condition.I tried to negotiate but the manager would not budge.I was thinking to myself 30 cents, my special needs son looked at me and the look he gave me was sad.As a father that girl manager really humiliated me in front of my son.I gave 3 stars cause the other workers are great but that girl I just can't be near again.I went down to the pawn shop and they treated me wonderful and traded my blue ray for a blue ray my son wanted for no extra money.I will still go in there but only if the cool guys are there if she's there...
