Gulf Lounge — Attraction in Silver Spring

i use to love golf but after last night i changed my mind. i booked my table 3 weeks in advance, i negotiated with a lady who supposedly is the manager in charge of booking tables, as i was told. she told me i can get the tables for 750$ with 5 bottle and all my guest free also get lots of shout-out from the DJ .i gave her 100$ down payment. i call the day of the event to verify that my reservation is still on.The man that i spoke to told me he wasn't aware of my reservation that he was about to give my VIP section to someone else. i told him the 750 with 5 bottle and all my guest free, he told me he is the promoter and the lady that did the reservation wasn't authorize to book the table. i end up paying 800$ with 3 shout-out which i had to ask the sever to tell the DJ and some of my guest was charged, i was going back and forth getting their refund back i missed two guest that was charged 20 each to get in. Few minutes later after i payed 700$ because i already payed 100 down payment, they call me at the back office to let me know that they found my reservation paper and it says 750 so that means i have to pay 50$ more, i had to explain to her that the 750 was for the whole table. she was asking to pay 850$. later she said lets leave it 800$ that i already paid. One of the juice spilled on the floor my server was no where to be found, i sent someone to call one of the employees to clean the spell, 20 minutes later no one showed up, i had to go back at the back office asking someone to clean the spill, 5 minuets later i saw my server whispering to one of the guy on the dance floor, pointing at my direction,i guess is to clean the spill. I had the worst Birthday party ever. i had a VIP table with no VIP service.I walked at the back office so many time to let them know what i need and what i don't need and going back to the front getting my guest refunds back.A server supposed to check with his or her tables every 5 to 10 minutes to see if they need something. i complained about my bad service and no one did anything, all they said was am sorry.i will make sure non of my friends will book a table at the Golf Don't get me wrong the employees are nice but they not organized and also don't know...

Please, please and please again: don't waste your time and your hard earned money on this lounge/club. Pay attention to the ONE STAR given by previous patrons. I ignored those ONE STARS and I had to learn things the hard way. I thought those ONE STARS were just coming from some rogue disgruntled patrons. I was damn wrong. I ordered a long island from the bar and the bar tender gave me a different drink. I told the bar tender you gave me a wrong drink. Can you please get me the drink I paid and ordered? Most lounges will give you a replacement but this lady bartender was arguing with me and said she wasn't going to replace my drink. She got security involved and they told me if I keep on arguing with her, they will have to kick me out of the place. First of all their serving cups for the drinks were too small compared to all the lounges, bars, and clubs that I had visited prior. Believe me, I am a party animal and I get around. Moreover, a couple of times I have been there, the crowd ratio is 20men to 5women. It's basically a SAUSAGE PARTY! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. My African friends always drag me to this place but I am finally done with Golf Ultra Lounge. It doesn't worth it save your money; unless you want to see guys dancing with each other. Don't let the 3, 4, or 5 STARS fool you....

WILL NOT BE COMING BACK

I’ve been here twice. The first time was with my wifey when we first met. We had a good time then. The second time was about a year later with wifey again but when I saw my bill I determined it would be our last time. I ordered a margarita with don julio reposado and shot of grand marnier. Wifey settled for a lemon drop because they couldn’t do a white russian. Got the bill…THE BARTENDER CHARGED ME $32 FOR THE MARGARITA!!! $32!!!!!! BRUUUHHHH!!! For some margarita mix?!

As a former bartender who learned to make premium margaritas with fresh lime juice & agave…you wouldn’t be charged more than $16 for that drink. Shorty had the audacity to say she gave me a discount. I didn’t even argue because at that moment I decided that would be the last time they get my money.
