It's great to have an updated theater back in town. We've seen two movies there since it reopened and have been happy overall with the experience.
However...
The last time we attended the theater, we were accosted by the Silverton Mural Society looking to drum up more members. I understand that the theater itself is a sponsor, and we have zero qualms with the society because it helps keep our town unique and beautiful. I'm just tired of being cornered by them every time I go anywhere in town. I know where their office is. I know where to get pamphlets. If I ever want to join, I will have no problem in connecting with them. I do not want to be stopped from going in (almost LATE) to a movie to hear a sales pitch that I've heard a million times already.

Did their website mention that they had better things to do than open as their website advertised??? NO!!!
You sure made a hit with those little kids who stood around in the 95 degree heat for 20 minutes waiting for you to open.
The definition of maturity:
the ability to refrain from strangling those who so richly...
