Glad Tai Dish Cuisine was open. Decor pretty meh, but the service was prompt. The food orders came out timed properly. Ordered TAI BBQ chicken, excellent flavor, texture, and tender, falling off the bone. Had combo appetizer platter, it was tasty, hot, crunchy. Broccoli beef was very delicious, more so than most other places. Ordered rice, had to order more as we ran out. Tried my guests curry noodles. The vegetables really flavorful and tasted so fresh. Curry is not my favorite but both my guests really liked it. They also ordered salad rolls, and must have liked them, as they were devoured. There was another dish with noodles, chicken called pan? Idk, but it was also completely eaten. Sticky rice mango for dessert, my first time. Very tasty and my guests loved it. Prices fairly priced, service good. Although I am not a big Tai fan, I think the food was fresh, hot, and very tasty. I recommend going to others. It is casual and a small narrow, old building, nestled in the cute town of Silverton. On Mondays, it's one of the few places open in this artsy, historical little town. We went there after short hike at Silver Falls. Beautiful drive, gorgeous...
Read moreVery unfortunate to go to a place for the first time and being tai, the food usually is “naturally” gluten free on a lot of dishes. (Soy sauce is the killer at these places) but we never have a problem...
My wife has celiac disease and cannot have ANY GLUTEN. WHEAT BARELY AND RYE...why do people not know this in the food industry..?!?
Well the person who took our order straight up LIED, and informed us that everything on their menu was gluten free and after confirming MANY times, they continued to tell my wife and I everything was gluten free. So we ordered and ate the food.
Well 1 hour after we ate my wife was puking and sick for hours because of gluten exposure...
If you don’t know what GLUTEN IS don’t ever tell your customers when they ask if your food is gluten free. I’m lucky I didn’t have to take my wife to the hospital because of how violent she started puking...
The food was alright but because of the lack of knowledge and honesty we will never be back and this review is to WARN ANYONE, this place is NOT GLUTEN FREE AND DONT BELIEVE THEM IF THEY TELL YOU IT IS! Pass on this place if you have celiac
You have...
Read moreThe one thing it had going for it was that it was open. For some reason Thai restaurants don't like to be open through mid-afternoon and they're always closed. I've lived in Thailand off and on for 4 years and I like to go to just about every Thai place. This is the first one where I got spicy fried rice with basil, and found it to be very bland with no spice or flavor beyond the spicy part. It needs a little garlic salt and white pepper possibly seasoned with the meat and maybe a little macky soy sauce added...? Either way it was quite bland for Thai food which is strange. The building itself is a little old and the atmosphere is fairly drab. But some of the other dishes might be okay for a simple quick lunch stop. The two ladies were nice, although they sat a couple muffins on my table, when I thought they were giving them to me but they charged me for them saying that it was for their daughter's school....... Which is fine but you should make that clear to customers that you're selling those...
