The Curbside Italian Kitchen provides authentic, delicious, amazing Italian food, made by even more amazing people, Pietro and Giulia. It is obvious they put their heart and soul into each and every dish they make, and that they put personal pride into using only the highest quality ingredients to create the best possible food.
We had the pleasure of having them cater our wedding, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our decision. They were just an absolute pleasure to work with, and you could tell that they cared immensely about providing us, our family, and friends with a superb appetizer, dinner, and dessert service. They were very attentive as we worked together to build a really delicious menu, as well as options for vegetarians and gluten free folks.
They prepared an Italian appetizer spread with freshly sliced cured meats and wonderful cheeses. The main course consisted of the most tasty lasagna we've ever had, or vegetarian and gluten free cannelloni with perfectly textured fresh noodles, as well as a burrata and tomato salad on the side. For dessert we had tiramisu and cannoli - both of which were mouth-wateringly wonderful.
We heard from all of our guests afterwards that it was some of the best food they've had at weddings - and we could tell that they really meant it.
In short - if you want traditional Italian food at your wedding (or really, anytime),...
Read moreMy financial institutions have sent me a thank you card for living in Salem and that this establishment is not down the road from me, or within a 5 min drive. Silverton has a diamond value restaurant. Came in and ordered the "Spring" focaccia sandwich, two drinks from the fridge up front, a margherita pizza in the Neapolitan style and one scoop each of gelato for my wife and I. Didn't get photos of the gelato, but it was wonderful, I got mint and my wife got stracciatella. The sandwich I was concerned about, the bread that came out just looked like a fluffy big loaf, and maybe not focaccia, but I can assure you this is focaccia sandwich bread that is what most places wish they could make! Looks too big for a full bite, but the second you go for it, the pillowy soft bread, with the taste of olive oil, salt, and simplicity, was everything I ever wanted out of the sandwich with burrata, arugula, prosciutto di parma and balsamic. It was sooo good. The pizza is great and was absolutely the Neapolitan pizza of someone's dreams, sauce that is a great amount, not too little - not obnoxious, and crust that makes me reminisce of Italy and the beautiful people, culture and ultimately, the world changing food. It genuinely made me think of all of these things and just remember, that simplicity is the ultimate indulgence....
Read moreEmailed ahead to make sure they were open since they were closed for.2.weeks. Explained that we were coming from out of town and didn't want to waste another trip to be dissappointed. They encouraged us to visit. When we ordered we were told that HALF of the menu was "unavailable". Why wouldn't you convey that information before inviting us to drive out to your establishment? Why did you not inform us when we arrived that your Italian restraunt was out of PASTA? Very poor business to say the least. The food was only authentic to the enployees. There is no bread service or even an option to buy. The staff waits in the back until someone.wants to pay. The little girl who delivers your silverware, glasses, food and follows up with you is very nice but I can honestley say the woman behind the counter who was criticizing a child under 10 in front of customers is very shamefull. That nice little girl does not deserve anything but high praise and a warm Thank You for her efforts that are above and beyond those given by that poor old woman. Thoroughly UNimpressed and...
