Raven & Moon — Attraction in Simpsonville

I passed this place twice before I saw it but the frustrating drive was totally worth it. Great selection. Picked up some palo santo on my last visit and hope to join one of the singing bowl sessions soon.

It has been a year since my initial review (above) and Raven & Moon has become such a sanctuary for me. Including my experiences from just a couple of the many wonderful offerings they provide because google limits the length of reviews.

Sound Bath ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently attended a sound bath session at Raven & Moon, and it was one of the most profound, relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I stepped into the room, the atmosphere was calm and inviting. Soft lighting filled the space, and the scent of gentle incense set the perfect tone for relaxation. I settled onto a comfortable mat, with a bolster and pillow (all provided in store) and closed my eyes as the session began.

Nichole started with some soft verbal guidance, helping everyone in the room let go of their daily stresses. Then, she began to play a metal drum while Melissa played the crystal singing bowls. The entire space filled with rich, layered vibrations. Each sound wave felt like it was washing over me, almost like a gentle massage for my mind. I could feel the different frequencies resonate in various parts of my body, bringing a sense of lightness and peace that deepened as the session continued.

As the sounds grew, so did the sense of awe. They incorporated a variety of instruments, from chimes to gongs, rain sticks to metal bowls each adding a unique tone that complemented the others beautifully. The vibrations seemed to clear away tension and energy that had been lingering for days, leaving me with an incredible feeling of clarity.

The sound bath lasted about an hour, but time felt irrelevant as I was completely immersed in the experience. By the end, my mind was quiet, my body felt rested, and I could sense an openness in myself I hadn’t felt in a long time. Nichole gently brought us back to the present, giving us time to re-ground ourselves and slowly adjust to the dimly lit room before turning in additional lights.

I left the session feeling like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. It was unlike any other form of relaxation I’ve tried, combining physical, emotional, and mental release in a truly holistic way. I would highly recommend the sound bath at Raven & Moon to anyone needing a break from the demands of daily life or just looking for a way to reconnect with themselves. Intuition Masterclass ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nichole started by helping us understand what intuition really is and how it manifests uniquely for each person. She guided us through exercises designed to help us tune into our own intuition, which felt like unlocking a part of myself I had never explored before. Over several weeks we practiced different techniques, including visualization exercises, meditation, and even partner activities that helped us learn to trust our gut feelings.

We learned practical tips for incorporating intuition into our daily lives—how to listen to those subtle signals, recognize them without overthinking, and make decisions that align with our deeper selves. I walked away feeling more connected to myself and more confident in trusting my instincts.

For anyone curious about tapping into their intuition, this masterclass is a must. It’s more than just a class; it’s an opportunity to grow and understand yourself on a new level. Have you ever walked into a brand new place for the first time and immediately felt at home as the weight of the world fell off of your shoulders? This was my experience walking into Raven and Moon for the first time! I drove by quite a few times before my curiosity got the best of me and I finally built up enough courage to go inside (welcome to the South where crystals and everything are deemed evil lol). Anyway, I finally dipped in to check out the new crystal hub in Simpsonville and was completely blown away in every regard. I was welcomed by Melissa, one of the owners, when I arrived who was so genuinely warm and welcoming to both my daughter and I that I just felt a sigh of relief flood my heart. It felt like coming home- truly! We had the best time shopping around that day. That was two years ago now and we have stopped multiple times a month since. The classes taught by Nicole are incredible-- so much fun, so wildly interesting, and such a reasonable price point it seems like a steal. I honestly couldn't tell you my favorite thing about the shop... the sound baths are absolutely delightful and so deeply restorative-- I highly recommend, the atmosphere is so welcoming and non-judgmental to all who enter-- high, lovely vibes all the way around, the classes keep me coming back to learn more and more and have given me the opportunity to connect with a community of brilliant women that I'd otherwise probably never had the opportunity to meet... I never thought I'd be thankful and grateful that a shop existed and that is exactly how I feel about Raven and Moon... they have blessed my heart and life in so many ways and I am so grateful and continue to stop by every time my cup needs filling up.
