As a cook, the concept of welcoming someone into my kitchen is both heretical and perverse. Never before have I seen a customer and thought, "you know this guy's seems trustworthy, a real stand up guy", but Adrian hears me ask "what kinda oven do you use?", and says to me "come in I'll show you". Now this singular moment, for me, displays not only an incredible confidence in one's own skill but also one's judge of character. I walk inside his kitchen and see an incredibly well kept kitchen, well kept floors, a beautiful polished oven, clean sink, well maintained and organized topping section, and Adrian working a perfectly maintained coriography of tossing, topping, baking, retrieving, cutting and serving (of course in no peticular order as per a lunch rush). After short exchange I step back outside, retrieve my order, sit down and enjoy the --honest to God-- best damn slice of pizza I've ever had. Sauce is perfect, cheese is melted but not falling off, pepperonis are crispy, and there's a perfect amount of grease just on the surface. Now don't read this and think Adrian will let you into his kitchen if you ask, in fact you should NOT ask to walk into ANY reasturant's kitchen EVER, but know that this place has incredible food, made with incredible standards, made by...
Read moreLunch today was with my 4 yr. old great great nephew, starting with me getting him out of school early, a stop by the school’s book fair(he’s a flim flammer and knew that I would get him 2 books yes I spoil him), and ending with a trip to “my Walmart”(his words). We had lunch at The Bus for a slice of pizza each. He wanted tea to drink my drink of choice was diet Coke. The pizza slices are huge and thin crust. After deciding what kind you would like, it’s then reheated and placed on two paper plates. My nephew got a slice of cheese pizza and the owner suggested the margarita pizza to me, telling me that it was his favorite. My nephew only pulled the cheese off of his to eat, and didn’t eat all of the cheese, my pizza was good, but not I just have to try it again good. The owner was very friendly, and that goes a long way with me, considering the world and things we are dealing with now. I had an enjoyable time with my little nephew, that’s going to be a repeat next month at a different...
Read moreI recently discovered Street Pizza at the Warehouses in Simpsonville, SC, and it has quickly become my favorite pizza spot in the Greenville area! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a fantastic dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the pizza! Every bite is a delightful explosion of flavor. The crust is perfectly crispy with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings are fresh and abundant. I especially loved their signature sauce—it's rich and tangy, elevating each slice to a whole new level. Whether you prefer classic toppings or something more adventurous, Street Pizza has it all!
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every customer feels valued. I can't recommend Street Pizza enough; it’s truly the best pizza I've had in Greenville! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't be...
