My husband and I had a terrible experience at home depot in Simpsonville We went to purchase wood to build a porch. As we were loading we were approached by a forklift with wood and two other employees.I asked if we needed to move.No response.I told my husband that I would go to the restroom while they were stocking.i came back and he was out of the isle and it was blocked off.We were in the isle and they just rolled up on us.I couldn't get a response and I was in the isle first.I told my husband to leave the wood and we left I'm angry so i called to speak to the manager.Manager came to the phone and before I could explain he said mam I am aware of the situation and he said that is our policy to block off when forklift is present. They said you were asked to move from the isle which was a lie. They never asked me to clear the isle.We took it upon ourselves to move. Why did we have to move when we were shopping?Customer first right?I got nowhere with the manager. If nothing was wrong why did they go and tell the manger within minutes of us leaving? That's a sign of guilt.I will shop at Lowes where customers are first and respected.

I placed an order a week ago, get here to pick it up and they dont even have it ready when the email said it was. Waiting around for a half hour, and then they tell me it just arrived on the truck and they need to get it down! Also, got a delivery of over 1000lbs of tile. They diddnt place it in the unoccupied driveway. No, that was too hard. But instead placed it directly in front of my mailbox in the street. So now me and mom have to unload this platte of tile by hand, and mom trips over some of the plastic wrap they wrapped it in hitting the pavement. Great. Thanks for that. Contacting legal.

Simpsonville SC Home Depot Managers at this store are not very consumer helpful or friendly and wash their hands with garbage they sell to us and don’t try to resolve their issues. Stay away from LG = Literally Garbage brand especially there wonderful glass stove tops they are not liable for shipping issues or product damaged. I have spent so much at home depot that I should have a store or two by now and a pity thing like this to them is gonna break them, shame on you home depot I will cancel my cards with you and shop elsewhere.

Let me just start with self check out... This is the reason I don't shop at Walmart. So I go to the check out with two 4X8 sheets of plywood, three boxes if staples and a portal and cable air stapler. I stand there waiting and the cashier at self checkout tells me to come over there. I go reluctantly and voice my hatred for self checkout. She scans my plywood and other items. I ask if I can split the bill and told her I had 82.00 in cash and I would pay the rest on my debt card. She says sure and types something into her register not mine then says go ahead with the cash. I voice my frustration again and proceed to put in my handful of bills into the self check out. After putting in 40.00 it won't let me put anything else in and spits out a receipt and 11.25 change. So at this point I think to myself anyone else would just walk out but I'm not any one else.... So I tell the cashier that it messed up and gave me money back before I had put all my cash in. Finally after explaining this several times she calls I'm assuming was a manager. I explained to the manager what happened and instead of fixing my problem and getting me on my way she takes the time to talk to the cashier at length about what she did wrong. Finally she voids my order walks over to the self checkout and takes out my 40.00 I had put in and hands it back to me. Not thinking about the 11.25 the machine had already given me I count my cash to see if I have my 82.00. You know already... I had 93.25. I then had to explain to the manager that 11.25 was theirs. So so far I have saved a ton of money and it's time to check out again... I asked because of all the trouble and the money I saved them by being honest if I could get a discount of some kind. The answer was a flat no. I said okay can we at least move to a register were I won't have to put in 15 or so bills. Again the answer from the manager was a flat no. I know what you guys are thinking (if I was this dude I would have walked and not looked back) well I just got done working a 12 hour shift at a local factory and I live 40 minutes away so the last thing I want to do is go to another hardware store and the home. So I payed and told the disgruntled manager I would not ever be back. * update I put the same review on home depots web site and guess what? It was denied I guess it wasn't a positive enough review. here is what they said in the email. "Your review is very important to us and The Home Depot community. We appreciate you taking time to submit a review about the #1124 Simpsonville. Unfortunately, your review did not meet our guidelines for posting on our site." Let me just say the review here except the update was copied before I submitted it to the home depot and is exactly what you see here. I guess the truth hurts. * The mananager did email me back and said and I quote from the email. "I want to apologize for the customer service you received at our store today. I hope you will give us an opportunity to correct our wrongs and encourage you to shop with us again. Please contact us via email or phone at your earliest convenience." I thought that I did...

Didn't have the dishwasher I wanted in stock. SALES PERSON didn't know when it would be in stock. Chose another brand. That dishwasher wasn't in stock. We gave up on dishwashers. We hunted for a kitchen faucet and couldn't find anyone to help us. We did find one and proceeded to check out . No people at registers. Which is really annoying to us both. My husband was going to use his military discount. That was a catastrophe! Home Depot, in a self check- out, had started something new for their policy. When you want to use your military discount You had to download the Home Depot App. My husbands phone wouldn't pick up service inside. So I proceed after 25 minutes to. Download the app. Unwanted on my phone! Using all of his information and passwords, he had on his phone. I flagged down an associate. After another had disappeared hearing that we wanted to use his Military Discount. Finally, a real nice young guy. Was very pleasant and helpful . His name was Donavan. Explained how they had set up the Home Depot registers to where you had to put their app on your phone. Good Luck! This went into 35 minutes. This young guy named Donavan really helped us. We ended up saving around d $30.00 . Although 40 minutes at checkout was awful. Home Depot We think you could do better. My husband was in a handicap carrier. He was feeling really awful to began with. By the time we left I felt really AWFUL!This was Labor...

Double checked online and called to make sure a generator adapter was in stock. Asked for them to actually lay eyes on and put one behind the counter but they kept insisting they had it. Drove over an hour to find out they actually didn't have it and the online order they forced me to make will take days to refund. It’s either gross incompetence, negligence, laziness, or a combination of all three. This wouldn’t have been an issue if they would have actually checked for it like I asked on the phone instead of waving me off.

I get things are a mess with the storm, but this was completely avoidable. They didn’t offer to check elsewhere for stock or any sort of help, but I shouldn’t have expected much when they couldn’t count right or even actually check when I asked on the phone. A mind boggling display of ignorance. Again, I get things are all over the place with the storm, but this would be a non-issue if they had just checked like I asked instead of brushing me off and wasting 2 round trip hours that I could have used finding a store that actually had it in stock with employees that have the sense to check when they’re asked. Now everything is closed and I’m boned until tomorrow on top of waiting for my refunds. I’ll make sure Home Depot is now a last resort only from here on out. At least everywhere else could check and tell me...
