There is the statue of liberty by the sunken gardens and flower gardens and many a wedding has been preformed there. In the winter there is a skating rink near to where the kiddie pool is located. A bandstand is located at the southern side of the park and this is where special events often take place free of charge for the public. On the north side of the park is the tennis courts. Huge trees, squirrels and a well manicured landscape set the atmosphere for recreation.
