Love the church and the people. I have made a lot of friends here. I have belonged here since I moved to Solon in 2012. We lost our organist..... he was from the west side. He played beautifully.
I have a difficult time with the new organist. I am not sure if he chooses the music or if Father does. The songs are usually played to slow and sound like a funeral dirge sometimes. And the responsorial psalms, Holy Holy, Alleluia etc are very hard to follow due to the music or the tune accompanying them. When there is singing not a lot of people participate which is sad. Not sure if it is because it is hard to follow or what. We should be blowing the roof off of the church when we sing.

Parishnors are friendly, loyal, and devoted people. There is very much a community and family atmosphere there. If you like to be involved, there is a plethora of clubs, volunteer ops, and fundraisers to keep you busy. The parish had a thriving CYO athletics program for ages 3rd through 8th.
