Main Street Liquors — Attraction in South Bound Brook

This place racially profiled my boyfriend when he went inside to grab a bottle of wine for us. The two men working there took turns following him around the store as he was looking for the wine we like. It was to the point that my boyfriend had to verbally assure them he was not there to steal. Very degrading and disrespectful, racist employees. Highly recommend not going here if you’re a person of color. There’s plenty of other liquor stores in the area with better class and respect for customers....

My recent visit to Main Street liquors was extremely disappointing and upsetting. The owner displayed blatant racism by following my friends and me around the store, assuming we were there to steal based on our appearance. This behavior made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, the owner’s personal hygiene was poor, adding to the overall negative experience. I do not recommend this store to anyone and urge others to take their business elsewhere where they will be treated with respect...

Owner is towing cars that park in their lot for those who go to the Ice Cream shop next door. The parking lot is big enough for both businesses. The owner isn't using common sense and may lose business because of their careless actions. There are certainly customers who may stop at the ice cream store and get ice cream for their kids who may also stop for a 6 pack of beer and a bottle of vodka but may now go elsewhere for the liquor for fear of...
