From the minute I walked in, this place became my home away from home. The Owner Dan has a mind-boggling ability to make you feel like family.

In the few times I've been in, Dan has sold me Aquarian heads for some of the best prices I can find, a DW beater (also best price), helped to correct a latency issue with my double bass drum pedal, educated me on cymbals, allowed me to play on his Benny Greb signature snare on a new British Drum co drum set, educated and saw some amazing antique sets and helped introduced me to one cool guy 75 yrs old (Pop) that's said to be the most gigging drummer in the area - he stopped by the shop to pick up his purchase and the conversation covered everything from drums to philosophy. I've also met Damon who teaches lessons there and he comes across as a pretty cool cat as well.

Daytona Beach Drum Center is my favorite music store ever! As someone who's spent most of life working or teaching in music stores, this one is special. Thanks to Dan Grabski (owner) for giving the Daytona Beach area such a wonderful drumming resource and community hang out. They always have the sticks and heads I need. In random cases when they run out, Dan is attentive and orders it for me FAST. One of my favorite things is the killer assortment of snare drums they always have in stock. And the assortment of full kits and shell packs is impressive - large tom Rock kits; smaller Fusion kits; cocktail Jazz kits; you name it! This place has drum kits that are as much works of art as musical instruments, he’s got everything from “players kits” (looks rough but plays well) to individual drums, great selection of both new and used cymbals. The prices are the best I’ve seen and everything in the shop is quality no matter the price point. But the best thing about the place is the owner himself. Dan is genuinely excitied about drumming itself no matter if you’re a professional session musician or you just started learning yesterday, this guy is excited about your drumming, your techniques, your drum kit.
