My husband purchased/reserved a painting for my birthday. We ended up not going because there was another painting I liked better. We were told we would receive a credit via email. Never did get a credit after over a week. So I called and explained everything to the gentleman that took my call. He said he would have to call me back because he couldn't pull up their system to get to our account. He never called me back, so I had to call back again the next day. The lady I spoke with the following day said she was going to email us a code for another painting. At this point I am not interested in doing business with people I no longer trust. I explained to her that I would just like a refund. She told me she would give my info to upper management and they would be in contact with me in 24-48 hours. It's past that point and still no call back. It really blows my mind that a business is so willing to hold onto our money, and when given the chance to give us a credit, we have to jump through hoops. And now we can't even get our money back. How hard is it for someone to take care of this? I had attempted 3 times to receive a credit. After the 3rd time I had decided to go somewhere else because it was a struggle to receive a credit for the painting we had paid you for. I was willing to come back to do another painting, however you made that very difficult. I had a painting picked out a week after the original painting and still no credit was given to me. I asked for a refund and still have yet to receive a full refund because you claim it is your policy to charge $10 for cancellation. I didn't choose to cancel a painting. I do not wish to do business with a company that takes without giving. I should not have to reach out to you 3 times to give me a credit. You failed to give proper customer service and even went against your own policy. I have called at least 6 times trying to resolve this and still no help. Owner refuses to talk to me on the phone, and claims to be busy every time. But has time to edit the response to my review. Very sad and unprofessional. No we did not receive a full refund. You still have $10 that belongs to us. If anyone went against...
Read moreThis little art studio/wine bar was fantastic! I took my wife to one of the guided painting lessons, and we had a blast. The drinks were good and the bar staff was prompt and thoughtful.
But by far the best part was the upbeat lead artist. They really brought the energy and enthusiasm to the event. Our artist was hilarious and could always find something to compliment about each person's painting to bolster the person's ego. They were patient and could communicate the directions with a practiced ease.
Something we ran into - we tried to grab dinner in the village beforehand and we ended up being 5 minutes late for our event. I would recommend getting to your event 10 minutes early - the bar will be open and you can get comfortable in the space beforehand. We didn't get to do that and I feel our experience would have been better if we had.
I would recommend this location for special events with friends or as a date night with your...
Read moreMy husband and I have been coming here regularly since February 2022 (anywhere from 1-4 times per month) for painting classes. It’s always a joy to participate and learn. The teachers are fun, informative, and mostly easy to follow.
It’s a casual and relaxed atmosphere, with reasonable prices for the classes. The owner of the business in Sunrise, Heidi, is friendly, and open to suggestions for new paintings. We had the pleasure of talking to her one of the nights we went.
My house is now filled with lovely paintings that my husband and I have been able to paint under the instruction of the teachers here. We are continually adding to the collection. This is one of our favorite places to go for...
