South Houston City Park — Attraction in South Houston

Cute little park! I would have given it more stars but it has a lot of trash everywhere. The thing I like the most is there is plenty of shade and also the whole playground is fenced in for kids that like to take off. Perfect for my crazy littles!! There are plenty of nice picnic tables for a little lunch. There are also plenty of benches for you to sit on while the kiddos play. There is a basketball court and a small pavilion where pictures could be taken. Right now for Christmas they have a sleigh with a bench that you can take Christmas pictures in! Definitely will be visiting again. Don’t forget to drive down the next street to see the tank! My babies love it and you can actually go inside the fence to look at it closer. The park It's okay, it looks good. It has good parking..What is really a shame is that the water fountain does not work and have it abandoned.if they'll fix the fountain it would give the park a lot of life.It would attract a lot more people. who believe in the power of this fountain and drop money on it, and that it can be a source of revenues for the city.There are many famous places in the world that raise huge amounts of money from water fountain and then they use it in charitable...

Very nice park, in the middle the neighborhood. Great place to get your exercise on. Wether it’s basketball, walk, jog or believe it or not you can practice yoga there’s plenty of grass lawns or even in the gazebo. And if you play Pokémon go this place has poke stops...
