This has got to be one of the worst bakeries I have ever been to. I went in to try to get a custom cake made and was greeted by a girl tear drops tattoed on her cheek, which made me feel like I was walking into a tattoo parlor more than a bakerie. Ignoring my gut feeling that this place was no good I continued to order my cake. Either the tattooed girl was def or just didn't care what I wanted since I had to repeat what I wanted like 8 times. After, she finally got my order right by some act of god, she asked me for my name which she couldn't get right either. After being told multiple times that the cake would look great and reading some fake 5star reviews I decided to still pay for the cake. Well, the day came and I went to pick up the cake which was far from what I ordered and when I asked about certain key areas that where incorrect or simply not on the cake, I was told by the female baker that she didn't do it because it was too hard. I was like ok? I mean why else does she think I hired her for, obviously it wasnt easy or else I would have done it. I will never shop in this place again. Cero...
Read moreTried this place out quite a few times, and the food has been good, not great.
This time around (a couple of days ago), I tried their Carne Guisada Tacos. The meat was melting in my mouth. I just wish it had a bit more salt and pepper. Overall, it was decent.
Every time I eat from there, I had a few of their Tacos from Beef Fajita to Chicken Fajita. The beef fajita isn't what I expect. I was expecting strips of beef but instead got ground fajita beef, which it's different but ok.
The chicken fajita is what I expected. That was ok too, it just needed more salt and pepper. The sauces, on the other hand, were so good.
The ambiance is what you expected from a Taqueria, friendly staff, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, I personally rate Cherry top a...
Read moreBest flour tortillas anywhere. Prove me wrong. They literally melt in your mouth. It's also a bakery, so you can get all sorts of different pan dulce, and some of the best kolaches in town. I go for tacos wrapped in those delicious tortillas. They have a steam table for you to choose from. I saw eggs and chorizo, potatoes, bacon, carnitas, barbacoa, nopales, and guisados. Good stuff. This place is on College, in between I-45 and Hwy 3. Down the street from Hobby airport. Most donut places won't have this selection, but this place does offer donuts, kolaches, and pan dulce. The signs say they offer menudo as well, I need to...
