Prairieland Heritage Museum — Attraction in South Jacksonville

Prairie Land comes around in the fall of each year, round Sept. So many attractions from the Tractor pull, Tractor rides, corn maze, train ride, petting zoo, playground for the wee ones. A wide variety of Dated Tractors to view at leisure. A pumpkin patch & museum are a few highlights. Walk around a packed Vender area set up of items for sale for the young or elderly. The signature event of this site us a three day steam show in early fall, featuring antique farm equipment, farming demonstrations, and related displays. There are rural history displays, relocated buildings like a 1 room school or country church, a band stand and other displays. Although there are steam displays like a sawmill, other antique farming equipment like old tractors are commonly featured.
