China King — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I don’t normally do this but, today we had an awful experience at China King restaurant here in Jacksonville. We Ordered a sesame chicken and a side of fried wings, the sesame chicken had pieces that weren’t cooked, the fried wings still had feathers on them. We went back, took the food to get a refund and the lady said she couldn’t help us because the “feathers” from the wings are the merchant’s fault and the sesame chicken was cooked. She was not willing to give us a refund or remake the food. She ended up only giving us a refund for the wings but , not the sesame chicken and wanted us to leave with only $7 for the chicken wings of refund after spending $25 and not giving us a refund for the sesame chicken or remaking it. They were very rude and disrespectful. That place is awful and I’m never buying from them again. Save your money and buy food...

The customer service while on the phone was rude, rushed, and harsh. This had already left me discouraged, however I decided to continue with the purchase. This was clearly a mistake. The purchase had no issues but the food itself on the other hand had multiple. The crab Rangoon was lacking in flavor as was everything. This all would have been no issue, except for the fact that I found a white hair in my noodles. It seemed to be from someone’s neither regions. I usually wouldn’t think that this was intentional. This time though, with the way they had acted on the phone as well as my number having been saved (which is normal but it means there is an easy connection between number and food) I feel as though it was intentional. My mom has been ordering from this restaurant for years. We got the chicken with broccoli and the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken and broccoli was good. However, the sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and there was barely any chicken. It was just breading. Upon calling them about this, I was accused of lying about it and when I asked for a refund for the sweet and sour chicken, they said they, “don’t give refunds.” I then suggested a gift card and was denied that as well.
