I attended a gemstone show here which turned out to be fantastic. There were many different people contributing to the success of this gem show and it was fantastic. I missed a gem show much closer to my home but being in search of one particular stone, Larimer, I opted to travel the extra hour to come here. After a year of actively searching for this stone for someone close to me I finally found not only one but four different styles of the same stone I was in search of, all priced very well. The vendors were wonderful which helped this showing to be a great success. One vendor was letting children pick out stones to put in a bag provided to them at no cost. Talking with the vendor he found out that I have a grandson 2000 miles away and immediately offered myself a bag, also free of charge to load up on stones and have them make a trip across the United States to end up in the hands of one happy and excited four year old boy! Read moreThe events might be fun, however the attendees ALWAYS park along 2200 west and into neighboring subdivisions to avoid paying the cost to park, which causes a major public safety hazard. I would have hoped the Equestrian Park management would be more concerned for the public's safety and require event organizers employ security/police for traffic control for all events.
