South Jordan City Park — Attraction in South Jordan

This city park could easily be more stars with a little money invested. It's 5 stars if you need a place to practice field sports. It's actually 3 stars compared to true 5 star parks. When the fields are available, great for kites, Frisbee etc. Rather windy at times. Decent play zone for children. Skate park for youths. Easy access to the rec center with fair fees and memberships. Tennis courts access, when pretentious tennis fans aren't there. Wish the library wasn't across dangerous...

How have I never been to this park before? Tucked away off the busy road, this is a massive park with loads of space for the kids to get out and run around. Has baseball fields, soccer pitches, and my kids favorite is the large playground. Nice selection of slides and swings for the kids to burn off some energy. I don't know if it was a fluke, but despite the massive size of this park, we were the only family in the park around 7pm. Would happily visit this park again...

Large pavilion with lots of picnic tables with bathroom connected. Great for a large family gathering with the playground so close! We come here for team sports events, and it's great to have something for the little kids to do while we sit for an hour long game. Lots of shady trees on the sides to keep cool in the summer. Well maintained grass area. Definitely need more parking for sporting events throughout the entire area in and...
