The play equipment is wonderful and can keep everyone quite active. Great design! Because of the narrowness of the road located behind businesses, off busy 10600S., and leading into a neighborhood it would be wise to install a fence surrounding the play/picnic area with only one gate leading out. It would be incredibly easy for someone to grab a kid and disappear into the neighborhood or for a kid to wander into the street. So far this park has been incredibly crowded and it is easy to lose sight of your child. The close proximity to businesses, Bangerter highway, condo/townhouses etc is risky. Read moreThis is a great park for kids. It has a pretty cool playground with climbing features and slides and bridges and monkey bars. The surface is pretty soft - bark that has had rubber added to it. There is also a nice pavilion with 2 good picnic tables. There are a lot of trees, but they are new and don't give shade yet (2018). It does not have a drinking fountain or rest rooms, but is very close to Nelson's custard. There is some grass, but no level field for any sort of pickup game.
