Wow!! My experience at Malmrose was like night and day from my first bridal experience at Alta Moda (which was extremely discouraging). The owner/manager and my consultant, Anastasia, were OUTSTANDING at Malmrose! Anastasia is a GREAT listener and asks all the right questions to help you narrow down your best dress. I had really no idea what “look” I was going for except some vague ideas, and she helped me find a great vision for my day. She was encouraging, knowledgeable, knew how to customize dresses (with tailoring and belts/accessories) to fit my style, and she and the manager/owner made me feel like family. My family was visiting from out of town, and we only had about 90 minutes before I needed to take them to the airport. Even though we didn’t have time to book an appointment much in advance, they fit us in, and it was a fantastic experience. They had many dresses in different budgets, and I appreciated that she pulled dresses that stuck within the budget I told her (which was somewhat modest). I found several dresses I loved (one in particular!), and I will likely be getting my dress through them. They also take pictures of you in each dress and put them on their TV screens, which is very helpful when it comes to remembering and comparing dresses. The dresses are beautiful and unique, and they keep their dresses in plastic protective coverings and ask that you wear gloves while you try them on, which is a great testament to the care and pride they take in the dresses they stock in their store. Another GREAT thing about Malmrose that makes them different from others: the consultants are not paid on commission, so they don’t have any ulterior motives and are not pushy. Read moreThis was a very disappointing appointment. My stylist was 15 minutes late and didnt apologize for it. She rolled her eyes at MYSELF (the bride) as well as my mother in law & sisters. I found this out after the appointment after discussing with family because I was in the dressing room and did not see. I explained what style I was looking for and was shown the complete opposite. After expressing no interest, the stylist explained she was getting more inventory in January 2025 that were more in line with my requests. I wish that would have been expressed from the start, I wouldnt have wasted my time. I heard similar feedback from another bridal party present that day. Would not recommend.
Responding to the owners response since I can’t reply: Firstly, she did not apologize, she entered and explained the situation to the front office member not the bridal party. There was no apology. We also dealt with the traffic jam due to Culver and still managed to arrive on time. God forbid it was us who was late, we would likely be charged a fee. The other bridal party you were referring to must not be the same one I have in mind because I ran into them at Fantasy Bridal following our experience with you. They also expressed their discomfort in your shop. They were able to find their going there as well as myself with a much better experience. I likely didn’t remember the consultants name because she showed me a total of three gowns (for a 90 minute appointment) that were again, opposite of what I had in mind. While I understand accidents happen, you as a shop are taking no accountability for your consultant rolling her eyes at my bridal party. Utterly disrespectful. Read moreToday I found the dress of my dreams at Malmrose Bridal thanks to the help of my bridal consultant/expert, Julianne. This was my first experience trying on dresses in a bridal shop, and to be honest I was really overwhelmed at the thought of going. The shop itself is warm, inviting, and just as magical as you would hope. I was there for their annual sale and on a budget, and was so grateful to find that the staff were extremely respectful of my price range without question or comment. They let me look through dresses myself and then pulled some for me as well. Julianne was my bridal consultant and helped me the whole time. She was so friendly and accommodating! She helped me in and out of dresses and answered the hundred questions I had. She was so complimentary and made me feel as amazing as I had hoped to. I really appreciated that she knew when to step back and let me look/talk to my mom, and knew when to step in and give advice etc. When I found THE DRESS (ok, wow, best feeling ever) she showed me a ton of different options as far as adding straps, veils, accessories, etc which was so helpful. I never for one second felt rushed and this is their busiest sale of the year. I can’t believe how kind and excited the entire staff was from the moment I walked in until I walked out. I truly felt like the only bride there, even though I wasn’t. I really can’t think of a single thing that would have made this experience better than it was - I am so grateful this was my first and only stop in dress shopping because it was amazing.
