My friend told me about this place because of their Oreo sandwich cookie and she loved that they had it every week as a regular flavor. Even though I live almost 15 min away, I still drive to this spot regularly to enjoy their cookies. Some of my favorite flavors have been Chocolate frosted peanut butter, fruit tart, oreo, raspberry cheesecake, cookie butter and brown sugar maple. all of the cookies actually taste homemade, like your grandmas cookies would taste, not fake or artificial. The employees (from what I understand, are mostly family members!) are always so sweet, patient and take time to answer your questions. The owners are so awesome! I have a small story about the husband that I witnessed the other day at Costco, a small but thoughtful service. He was going into the store and saw a mom wrestling her 3 kiddos to try to get a cart. He didn't even hesitate to offer his to her and walked back around to get a new cart. It was one of those moments (as a mom of 2 littles as well) that made me emotional that there is still a lot of good in this world and I'm sure he had no idea that someone would recognize him or notice but just did it out of the kindness of his heart. It made me love this small, family owned business even more knowing that they are as genuine outside of their store as they are in it....
Read moreWe’ve been in twice now. First time the gentleman behind the counter was kind, gave us some stickers, and was genuinely thankful we had come in. We tried the (blue) sugar cookie, the Oreo cookie, and the milk chocolate chip. The sugar cookie was the best. The Oreo one was dry, and I would guess not made that day. The chocolate chip was just good.
We decided to return today because I truly want to give them a fair try. There were several people working, and one waited on us. She wasn’t quick to be as welcoming, but we did ask about the flavors so she told us. We got the sugar cookie again, lemon, and chocolate-chocolate. The chocolate one was okay. Nothing special. The lemon was actually only lemon frosting. Not good. The sugar cookie was good. The frosting had been put on haphazardly and wasn’t consistent in taste or texture. It was also not blue like the previous time. I mentioned to the employee that it was different then the blue one, and she said it was only the coloring.
I had 2 totally different experience when going into the shop, and some of it may come from just being new. I think if we go back, it won’t be right away. They may need time to decide...
Read moreThe bottom of the (sugar) cookie was rock hard. Like it was candied. Is that intentional? It made it feel cheap and amateurish. I like my 'gourmet' cookies to have a soft base, like all of Crumbl's. Subpar. Nothing to write home about. And only 3 flavor options? Huh? (At least on 5/24 in the app): Boring generic chocolate chip, boring generic sugar, and chocolate sandwich. I'd expect a cookie shop in the state that's arguably the cookie shop capital these days to be super competitive with its quality and flavor options. Just a silhouette of mountains is also an unimaginative logo and doesn't really scream "cookie"
Quick efficient curbside, though it's really unfortunate that there are 2 or 3 handicap parking spaces taking up all the parking directly in front of their store, so for curbside pickup, you need to park at an awkward angle away from the store entrance. But regardless I am extremely grateful for every shop that...
