Unforgettable Day at Adventures Lake Tahoe!
We had an absolutely amazing time at Adventures Lake Tahoe—these folks truly love what they do, and it shows. The kids learned so much. We started with Archery, and the instructors helped us fulfill requirements for both Scouting America and Girl Scout archery badges. They even let the kids try the Air‑Soft, which they can’t stop talking about and are already planning their air‑soft party!
Beyond that, Adventures Lake Tahoe offers so many unbelievable adventures: ATV Tour — Exploring off‑road trails through forests and granite rock outcroppings was thrilling. Read moreMy family of seven had an amazing time on the lazy river with Adventure Lake Tahoe. The water flowed at just the right pace, letting us relax and enjoy each other's company. I thought it was going to be chilly but the weather was warm and sunny, so we were all comfortable for the entirety of the float in just our suits. Make sure to bring a towel, sun screen, and a hat!
The scenery was breathtaking. We floated past so much nature, making this a very peaceful experience for all of us.
Jon, was wonderful. He was super friendly, punctual, and had everything ready for us. We just had to show up and enjoy—everything was taken care of. He provided paddles to help us navigate around trees and push off obstacles, life jackets for each person, and dry bags to keep our belongings safe and dry.
We were able to bring a cooler with drinks and snacks. We had also packed sandwiches that we ate on the river, turning this into a perfect floating picnic.
We had two kids with us, ages 12 and 7, who both had a blast paddling, splashing, and playing on the water. The adults kicked back and enjoyed some quality family time. It was the ideal mix of fun and relaxation, giving us all a chance to connect and unwind. Some of us were hooked together, but my 17 year old went solo and had fun paddling her way down on her own.
This activity is great for friends, couples, families, and if you just like to chill and kick back— go on your own too! You won’t regret it. Lol
Overall, our lazy river activity with Adventure Lake Tahoe was fantastic. It was the perfect way to spend a beautiful Sunday, surrounded by nature and family. We will definitely be back again next Summer to float the Truckee River!
Thank you Adventure Lake Tahoe and Jon for an unforgettable experience. Definitely a core memory...
Read moreI booked my family of 9 for archery, age ranging from 5 years old to 70. We met up with John and Matt at 10:30 a.m. on a Wednesday at Adventure Lake Tahoe. John already knew we knew little about the sport. John with more than 5 years of experience and the love of teaching, painstakingly gave a one-on-one, on hands course in archery. We learned proper Stand, Draw, Recurve bow, Knock, Arrow, Arrow fletch, tab, line-of- site, hold the line. And all the while enforcing safety amongst everyone of us. After his hour and a half course, and 60 or more arrows later! All nine of us hit targets 20 yards away and even some bullseyes. YAY! After that Wednesday morning, we all agreed that this was something we do again. I invite you the reader to book with John at Adventure Lake Tahoe. From Leroy Moreno...
