We had been excited to try this place as we saw a few locations in town. We finally got two chais on the way out of South Tahoe. Maybe it was a bad batch, but it had so much clove in them that our mouths/tongues got numb with the smallest sip. We gave it a few chances to acclimate to the taste, but it was too much. We tried the original chai as well as the maté one, to which they might just have added a syrup or something because it was simply sweeter than the OG, but just as numbing.
