Alpine Carpet One Floor & Home — Attraction in South Lake Tahoe

It is my pleasure to give Alpine Carpet One a FIVE STAR review. We walked into the store on a Saturday to browse new flooring for our SLT home. Caitlyn gave us excellent options. And we really loved a commercial luxury vinyl product - 2002V TITAN HD PLUS in 05037 MODERN OAK. After doing a price check in our local bay area Carpet One store, we called Caitlyn to see if they could do a price match on the product (since our preference is always to shop local). Caitlyn's boss, Paul, got back to us - and not only price matched, but went 1cent less! We placed the order. Paul contacted the manufacturer to see if the flooring would be ok if we opted to put extra padding. (Manufacturer's recommendation was not to put it.) Paul let us know about the delivery schedule (during these trying SIP times, shortages are normal) - a week out for the flooring and another week out for the stairs. Paul got our order delivered to us on time. Other than our initial visit, our transaction and follow up was done via the phone and electronically. You cannot go wrong with choosing Alpine Carpet One for your flooring needs. Great options. Fabulous customer service. Knowledgeable - with research with manufacturer for finer details. We had a great experience with Alpine Carpet One in South Lake Tahoe. A bear destroyed much our downstairs rooms and carpet. We decided to go with some type of vinyl plank flooring. My wife and I visited Home Depot in Carson City and had them come out for a quote. VERY frustrating process with them and they would not install flooring on our staircase. That was a complete deal breaker for us. We visited the showroom of Alpine Carpet One and were very impressed! Knowledgeable and friendly staff showed us multiple types of flooring. We requested a quote and Thomas showed up a few days later. Even though the price was higher-significantly higher-than Home Depot, there was zero doubt for us that it would be done completely and correctly. Because of a snow storm, the demo and install team started a day late but we were notified of this and the communication was great throughout the process! If there was a question, the owner would reach out. The job was completed on time and it looks spectacular! WE are so glad we went with Alpine Carpet One instead of one of the National chains. Our experience over all was excellent from the day we came in to select flooring until the very well done job was completed. Your staff was very helpful & accurate in estimating details. Mike fit us in to the schedule to accommodate our needs. It too a bit longer than we’d thought, but not a problem. EXCEPT FOR: Mario & team decided to do all the sawing inside the house, even though The weather was good and there was ample outdoor area for that 1/2 a story down from the work site. That’s about 10 steps. They did not protect the contents of the whole house & we were forced to hire professional cleaners to deal with the unnecessary mess for 2 whole days. BUT/AND. PAUL DECIDED TO COVER THAT EXPENSE!! ( nearly $700). The new floor looks great & all in all Alpine did well....
