My last experience there. Was short of disastrous. So let me tell you about a GMA that does not know what he's up to. On the 16th of this month which is August of 2017. Me and my lady went to Denny's. For a late dinner. When we enter the facility. It look like a hurricane went through it. The floors were dirty. The tables were unclean. And the worst of all they were short on staff. The poor waitress how to play Hostess server. Was so frustrated once upon you started getting complaints about the service. The meals were half cooked. And as far as a manager there that night. Was not really there. When things started going awry. She bailed out and left the waitress alone.. which in my book is very unprofessional. But like they say when it rolls down a hill it starts from the top. So whoever is the owner or the general manager of the place. Did not pay attention what was going on that night. And what was going on that light was The Who concert so obviously it was going to be a lot of people wanting some meals from Danny that night. So like I am I Lady ended up having some poor service I felt bad for them. Simple solution. I would replace the GMA. So if ever in that area again. I might take give them another try. And I hope this helps on both...
Read moreWe’re staying at Hotel Beckett down the street and had a craving for breakfast burritos, so we decided to try Brothers Burrito House. We ordered two bacon and two chorizo supreme breakfast burritos. The two with chorizo were a hit—they loved them. My buddy and I enjoyed the bacon one, but I found it a bit lacking in flavor, mostly just potatoes. The bacon itself wasn’t my favorite either—it was the thick, ham-like kind that isn’t crispy, which isn’t really my style.
That said, the green salsa I added really brought the burrito to life, and the tortilla had a nice homemade taste, which I appreciated. I’d definitely order from here again, but next time I’d probably go with chorizo or sausage instead of bacon.
We ordered through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the in-person service or ambiance, but the order arrived warm and accurate, which is...
Read moreWhere to begin? Ambiance in the restaurant? It feels like the perfect hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. And I mean that in the best way. This is followed up by a deep varied menu with myriad delicious choices. A plethora, if you will, of powerful Mexican flavor.
Or perhaps I should start with the nearly perfect burrito. Re-fried beans that make any abeula proud. Guacamole that Californians won't scoff at. And a flavor that makes you want to write a five-star review, once you're done telling your mother how good it was. (I ordered the Super Burrito with grilled chicken and chipotle sauce + a churro (GET THE CHURRO))
In review, Brothers Burrito House changed my life, and it will change yours, too. 11/10 definitely recommend. Thank me later.
